Praise be to Allah who legislated for His Servants pilgrimage to His House which He made as an expiatory for faults and sins, and made the reward of accepted Hajj is Paradise, Dar As-Salam (Abode of Peace). I praise Him (Glory be to Him) for the ordinances of Islam and His Wise Rulings and I thank Him for His Great Virtues and bounties. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone who has no partner who legislated the rites for mentioning Him. I bear witness that Muhammad is His Servant and Messenger, the most honorable devotee and the most perfect of those who performed the rites. Peace be upon him, his family, and his Companions of outstanding traits and great virtues.

O people, fear Allah (may He be Exalted) and know that Allah (may He be Exalted) ordained Hajj on you, so perform Hajj of His Sacred House and perform its great rites.

O Muslims, Hajj is one of the pillars of Islam which Allah (may He be Exalted) ordained on the able once in life time, but anyone performs more, it will be voluntary. On the other hand, whoever denies it or leaves it by not learning its rulings may die as a Jew or a Christian because negligence in performing Hajj after meeting its conditions is a defect in piety and one of the reasons of aberrance after guidance; so O people of reason, fear Allah.

Dear Muslims, the able who behoves upon him to perform Hajj once in lifetime is the free reasonable adult Muslim who has the expenses of his journey, an mount, and the provision of his family until he comes back of his Hajj along with the security of the road where a person is probably sure of going to the Sacred Country and reaching it safely. Another extra condition for women which is the presence of a Mahram (unmarriageable male relatives) to accompany them so as to be safe of sedition and sin.

Dear Muslims, Hajj is a great act of worship, and one of the enactments of the All-Wise, the All-Knowing. It is one of the pillars of Islam which is equal to Jihad in the cause of Allah. So, glad tiding is for Muslims with the great reward of expenditure and fatigue, for it is the Jihad of the weak and women. As for those who cannot afford Hajj despite their keenness and truthfulness in performing it, they should keep endeavoring until Allah fulfills his desire and facilitate his matters.

O Muslim nation:

Hajj contains great benefits and honorable reward, for it is an obligation by which the religion becomes complete and a general act of worship to all Muslims as it is a rare chance to understand religion and to tease the People of the Scriptures and polytheists. Moreover, it is an achievement to the Sunnah of the two prophets (Abraham and Ishmael) and following their path in performing the acts of worship to the Lord of the world. It contains meanings to achieve the requirements of brotherhood among Muslims, such as: Teaching knowledge, good example in work, enjoining good and forbidding evil, commending one another with the truth and patience, feed the poor, and offer advices to Muslims. Not to mention recognizing one another which is the most important reason in spreading intimacy and cooperation, solving problems, and reconciling between disputing people, in addition to the economic interests of Hajj. It is one of the opportunities of earning money, increasing trade, and exchange useful commodities between continents.

O Muslim nation:

Hajj is the greatest reason for erasing sins, doubling good deeds, freeing slaves, entering Paradise, and winning the greatest degrees. How great when the All Mighty comes down on `Arafah eve to boast of pilgrims before His Angles and make them bear witness for releasing them from Hell-Fire and granting them His Forgiveness! How beautiful is the delegation and how generous is the caravan. May Allah make you and us from the pilgrims of His Sacred House who witness the benefits and goodness of Hajj.

May Allah bless the Glorious Qur'an for you and me. May Allah make you and me benefit from the guidance and the wise sayings of the Qur'an. These are my words to you, and I ask for Allah's forgiveness for you, me, and to all Muslims of every sin and guilt, so, seek His Forgiveness to forgive you, for He is the Most Merciful, the Oft-Forgiving.
