The condition of the people on the Day of Resurrection (the Muslims) (1)

the situation of the Muslims

They are the target of these pages. As mentioned, we will divide them into two groups:

The first: the sinners among the believers

The second: the situation of the pious and righteous

What is meant by them: the Muslims who committed sins that caused them to fall into horrors and difficulties mentioned in the narrations. For every type of sin there is a specific situation that their companion will come upon. Among them are the following:

Those who do not give Zakat

The narrations prove that the ones who do not give Zakat have a specific situation and situation on the Day of Resurrection and that their punishment is on two sides:

The first: if he does not give wealth, an Aqra snake will be made in place of the wealth of the owner. It has two Zabeeb and will circle his neck and lick him, meaning with its tongue. It will say: I am your wealth; I am your treasure

Allah Almighty said:

{وَلاَ يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ هُوَ خَيْراً لَّهُمْ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَّهُمْ سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُواْ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلِلّهِ مِيرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ}

“And let not those who [greedily] withhold what Allah has given them of His bounty ever think that it is better for them. Rather, it is worse for them. Their necks will be encircled by what they withheld on the Day of Resurrection. And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. And Allah , with what you do, is [fully] Acquainted.” [Al Imran: 180]

This encircling is made up of: a snake circling their necks as the Prophet (peace be upon him) explained in Sahih Al Bukhari from the Hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: “The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Anyone whom Allah has given wealth but he does not pay its Zakat, then, on the Day of Resurrection, his wealth will be presented to him in the shape of an Aqra snake with two Zabeeb in its mouth and it will encircle itself round his neck and bite him over his cheeks and say, "I am your wealth; I am your treasure." Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) recited this Divine Verse:

{وَلاَ يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ هُوَ خَيْراً لَّهُمْ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَّهُمْ سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُواْ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلِلّهِ مِيرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ}

“And let not those who [greedily] withhold what Allah has given them of His bounty ever think that it is better for them. Rather, it is worse for them. Their necks will be encircled by what they withheld on the Day of Resurrection. And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. And Allah , with what you do, is [fully] Acquainted.” [Al Imran: 180][1]

Aqra: a male snake with a shaven head because of its excessive poison. Zabeeb: black poisonous glands in its mouth of the snake.

The second: if he withheld wealth from: gold or silver; they will be brought in trays of fire so he will be punished by them. If the wealth was animals: camels, cows or sheep, they will be sent to their owner and trample him. He will be punished by them.

Allah Almighty said:

{وَالَّذِينَ يَكْنِزُونَ الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ وَلاَ يُنفِقُونَهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ * يَوْمَ يُحْمَى عَلَيْهَا فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ فَتُكْوَى بِهَا جِبَاهُهُمْ وَجُنوبُهُمْ وَظُهُورُهُمْ هَـذَا مَا كَنَزْتُمْ لأَنفُسِكُمْ فَذُوقُواْ مَا كُنتُمْ تَكْنِزُونَ}

“And those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah - give them tidings of a painful punishment. The Day when it will be heated in the fire of Hell and seared therewith will be their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs, [it will be said], "This is what you hoarded for yourselves, so taste what you used to hoard.” [Al Taubah: 34-35]

In Sahih Muslim in the Hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) he said: the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “If any owner of gold or silver does not pay what is due on him, when the Day of Resurrection would come, plates of fire would be beaten out for him; these would then be heated in the fire of Hell and his sides, his forehead and his back would be cauterized with them. Whenever these cool down, (the process is) repeated during a day the extent of which would be fifty thousand years, until judgment is pronounced among servants, and he sees whether his path is to take him to Paradise or to Hell. It was said: Messenger of Allah, what about the camel? He (the Holy Prophet) said: If any owner of the camel does not pay what is due on him, and of his due in that (camel) is (also) to milk it on the day when it comes down to water. When the Day of Resurrection comes a soft sandy plain would be set for him, as extensive as possible, (he will find) that not a single young one is missing, and they will trample him with their hoofs and bite him with their mouths. As often as the first of them passes him, the last of them would be made to return during a day the extent of which would be fifty thousand years, until judgment is pronounced among servants and he sees whether his path is to take him to Paradise or to Hell. It was (again) said: Messenger of Allah, what about cows (cattle) and sheep? He said: It any owner of the cattle and sheep does not pay what is due on them, when the Day of Resurrection comes a soft sandy plain would be spread for them, he will find none of them missing, with twisted horns, without horns or with a broken horn, and they will gore him with their horns and trample him with their hoofs. As often as the first of them passes him the last of them would be made to return to him during a day the extent of which would be fifty thousand years, until judgment would be pronounced among the servants. And he would be shown his path-path leading him to Paradise or to Hell..”[2]

[1] Narrated by Al Bukhari number (4565)

[2] Narrated by Muslim number (987). Qa qarqar: Qa: a lowered place where water is gathered. Qarqar: a levelled place also on earth. Faseel: the offspring of the camel when it seperates from its mother. If it is separated it is Fateem. A’qsa, Jalha and A’dba. A’qsa: full horned. Jalha: without horns. A’dba: the one that has a horn broken on the inside, which shows that it has no defects in order to be stronger in thrusting and ramming. It is said: a’dya is cut in the ear, which is why the camel of the Prophet PBUH was a’dya. It is said: the one that is defective in the horn and ear. It tramples him with its thalf. Thalf is for cows, sheep and antelopes. Each has cracked toes. Horses, oxen, donkeys and humans have hooves.
