All praise be to Allah alone, and peace be upon the last Prophet.

There is no doubt that the educational process is accumulative and needs a lot of time and effort, in addition to sincerity and truthfulness in order to be fruitful by the will of Allah (may He be Exalted).

In this article, I am trying to highlight the most important educational factors that promote an educator and raise his level.

Here are these factors:

- The excellence of an educator in more than one field of knowledge.

- Strong connection with Allah (which is the most important factor).

- Educational vigilance, which means that an educator should have a sense by which he knows the conditions of his students and enables him to estimate the situations of the students and deal with them.

- Shari`ah knowledge.

- Understanding the nature of life and sharing some life aspects in order to convey values and principles to students.

- Contentment with the idea.

- Bearing the concern of upbringing.

- Openness and flexibility.

- Giving and spending.

-Taking into account the the psychological, financial, and social needs of a student.

- Benefiting from events and situations (and the biography of the Prophet and the history of the Companions are full of educational events).

- The rule of exchange (whenever you draw nearer to the student, he draws nearer you and tells you some secrets).

- The wide culture of an educator.

- Goodness of Giving (It is not enough to give but to choose the appropriate and best way of giving).

- Finding of incentives.

- Innovation and variation.

- The consciousness of an educator (The Fiqh of reality, the Fiqh of balance, and the Fiqh of priorities).

- The capacity of discovering and developing energies.

- Planning and regulating.

- Rule: (The opinion of an educator on the student has a great effect,) so if you describe something, he gets affected by that description negatively or positively.

- Intellectualness.

- Mastering the follow-up skills.

- Reinforcement and praise.

- Finding means to help in education.

- Trying to remove or reduce the factors which affect the student negatively.

- Continuous assessment.

- Comprehensiveness and balance in programs.

- Paying attention to practical means in upbringing, such as: `Umrah (the lesser pilgrimage), Qiyam-ul-Layl (standing for optional Salah at night), visiting of Bookstores.

- Sharing social occasions [whether they are joyful or sad] with the student.

- Making the student feel the transition (An educator should make the student feel that he or she moved from a stage to a higher and better stage).
