How do I resist pornographic sites?

The Question:

How do I resist pornographic sites, taking into account that I always perform Salah in congregation in the masjid and always recite the Qur'an? May Allah protect and bless you!

The Answer:

You own the most powerful weapons to get rid of these sites which is Salah that purifies man, strengthens his soul which always incites him to commit evil, and wards him off all things that bring about benefits.

There is no doubt that sometimes the sexual desire deceives a person when he sees the forbidden matters and enjoys them, however when the good side of the soul which exhorts its owner to goodness becomes stronger than the evil side, there lies the salvation. You are a conservative person who performs Salah and recites the Qur'an; all these factors encourage a person to abandon this bad habit.

First, you have to move all forbidden means out of your house because they exhort you to look at forbidden scenes, and replace them with other means that bring about goodness and benefits to you.

Furthermore, you have to practice a hobby to fill your thinking with good things which are useful for your religion and the world.

If you are married, you have to enjoy your wife but if you are unmarried, invoke Allah to grant you a good wife and keep you away from the forbidden ways.
