As-Salamu `Alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuh (May Allah's Peace, Mercy, and Blessings be upon you!)

What is the meaning of relaxation? Do you advise me to learn Yoga? And what is the positive impact of relaxation on humans? Are there ways to learn it?

Could you kindly tell us about it in general and about its application in particular?

Relaxation is one of the psychological techniques that are useful in getting rid of stress and anxiety, and its benefit is proven. It is useful to learn its way and to develop your skills because the matter needs more practice to master it.

Yoga is a form of relaxation and it is useful, especially if it is made for the sake of Allah and pondering over His Creatures and Greatness.

As I mentioned to you: Relaxation helps reducing stress, anxiety, and muscular tension. There are many forms of relaxation but the adopted is the general muscular relaxation. There are books and tapes could teach you relaxation step by step. It is useful to listen to one of these tapes, especially the tape of Dr. Muhammad As-Saghir about "mental and physical relaxation."
