1- The people of piety are in the accompaniment of Allah:
Allah (may He be Exalted) says: "Truly, Allâh is with those who fear Him (keep their duty to Him), and those who are Muhsinûn (good-doers)." [Surat An-Nahl: 128].

2-
They are the most honorable people in the sight of Allah:
Allah (may He be Exalted) says: "Verily, the most honourable of you with Allâh is that (believer) who has At-Taqwâ [i.e. he is one of the Muttaqûn (the pious)]." [Surat Al Hujurat: 13].

3-
They are the heirs of Paradise:
Allah (may He be Exalted) says: "Such is the Paradise which We shall give as an inheritance to those of Our slaves who have been Al-Muttaqûn (the pious)." [Surat Maryam: 63].

Allah (Exalted be He) says: "And Paradise will be brought near to the Muttaqûn (the pious), not far off." [Surat Qaf: 31].

He also says: "Truly! The Muttaqûn (the pious) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise)." [Surat Al Hijr: 45].

He also says: "Verily, the Muttaqûn (the pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise)." [Surat Al Qamar: 54].

4-
Piety is the best provision:
Allah (may He be Exalted) says: "And take a provision (with you) for the journey, but the best provision is At-Taqwa (piety, righteousness)." [Surat Al Baqarah: 197].

Allah (Exalted be He) says: "And the raiment of righteousness, that is better." [Surat Al A`raf: 26].

5-
The god-fearing people are the pious:
Allah (may He be Exalted) says: "None can be its guardians except Al-Muttaqûn (the pious), but most of them know not." [Surat Al Anfal: 34].

6-
The God-fearing people are those who benefit from guidance and admonition:
Allah (may He be Exalted) says: "This is the Book (the Qur'ân), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al Muttaqûn [the pious believers of Islâmic Monotheism who fear Allâh much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love Allâh much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)]." [Surat Al Baqarah: 2].

Allah (Exalted be He) says: "So We made this punishment an example to their own and to succeeding generations and a lesson to those who are Al Muttaqûn (the pious)." [Surat Al Baqarah: 66].

Allah (Exalted be He) says: "And Verily, this (Qur'ân) is a Reminder for the Muttaqûn (the pious)." [Surat Al Haqqah: 48].

7-
They are the people whom Allah loves:
Allah (may He be Exalted) says: "Yes, whoever fulfils his pledge and fears Allâh much; then verily, Allâh loves those who are Al-Muttaqûn (the pious)." [Surat At-Tawbah: 4].

8-
Piety is a strong reason for gaining livelihood:
Allah (may He be Exalted) says: "And whosoever fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). * And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine." [Surat At-Talaq: 2 - 3].

9-
Piety is a reason for receiving blessings:
Allah (may He be Exalted) says: "And if the people of the towns had believed and had the Taqwâ (piety), certainly, We should have opened for them blessings from the heaven and the earth." [Surat Al A`raf: 96].

10-
Piety is a reason for atoning sins:
Allah (may He be Exalted) says: "And whosoever fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him, He will expiate from him his sins, and will enlarge his reward." [Surat At-Talaq: 5].

Among other benefits which result from piety because piety is the reason of every success and winning as Allah (may He be Exalted) says: "And whosoever obeys Allâh and His Messenger (peace be upon him), fears Allâh, and keeps his duty (to Him), such are the successful." [Surat An-Nur: 52].

Sermon:

You know what kind of the book you shall receive in the Day of Recompense. You shall weep when Allah reckons you and you shall know your conditions on the Day of Account.

What a day in which the negligent and the indifferent will wake up, and everyone gladdened at sins will be sad, and you shall realize that all you have been through was just a dream.
