Introduction

   Praise be to Allah who has written dissolution on everything and excluded existence for Himself (Glorified and Exalted be He) as He says:

{كُـلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَـانٍ ¹ وَيَبْقَىٰ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ}

"Whatsoever is on it (the earth) will perish. And the Face of your Lord full of Majesty and Honor will abide forever.” [Al Rahman, 26-27]

   I praise Him a praise that befits His Majesty. He has created, sustained, and guided us to the two conspicuous ways. He has made clear for us the reality of the world and the final destination, so He has made clear for us the reality of the current life in which we live and the final abode that we will attain. He has given the greatest statement as He said:

{اعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا لَعِبٌ وَلَهْوٌ وَزِينَةٌ وَتَفَاخُرٌ بَيْنَكُمْ وَتَكَاثُرٌ فِي الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَوْلَاد كَمَثَلِ غَيْثٍ أَعْجَبَ الْكُفَّارَ نَبَاتُهُ ثُمَّ يَهِيجُ فَتَرَاهُ مُصْفَرًّا ثُمَّ يَكُونُ حُطَامًا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِّنَ اللَّـهِ وَرِضْوَانٌ وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُور}

“Know that the life of this world is only play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting among you, and rivalry in respect of wealth and children, as the likeness of vegetation after rain, thereof the growth is pleasing to the tiller; afterwards it dries up and you see it turning yellow; then it becomes straw. But in the Hereafter (there is) a severe torment (for the disbelievers, evil-doers), and (there is) Forgiveness from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure (for the believers, good-doers), whereas the life of this world is only a deceiving enjoyment.” [Al Hadid: 20]

   Praise and blessings be upon the best person who approached with his heart and actions to the final abode, turning his back to the temporary file, saying: “Be in the world like a stranger or a wayfarer.”[1] May Allah send peace and blessings upon our Prophet (peace be upon him) as long as the night and day alternate in the world until the Day of the Final Residence. Praise be upon the righteous Companions, who understood the reality of the world and the core of religion, so they turned away from the first and turned their faced to the Hereafter, then the Righteous Predecessors followed the same track. They set the greatest examples of the best followers and stated the following rule:

{يَا قَوْمِ إِنَّمَا هَـٰذِهِ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا مَتَاعٌ وَإِنَّ الْآخِرَةَ هِيَ دَارُ الْقَرَارِ}

“O my people! Truly, this life of the world is nothing but a (quick passing) enjoyment, and verily, the Hereafter that is the home that will remain forever.” [Ghafir: 39].

My dear travelling brother in this world:

   These are pages or if you wish to say “admonitions.” Which I wrote due to my negligent soul which is afraid of being tempted by the world and satisfied therewith. The soul is heedless and satisfied with temporary life which by the passage of time deemed the current life as the everlasting and the final, whereas it is a transit, full of hardships, its blessings are afflictions, its new things decay, its possessions perish, its intimacy ends, and its goodness is removed. We hold fast with it while we are in temporal blessings, afflictions, or in the state of death. Therefore, the Prophet (peace be upon him) sought refuge with Allah against its temptations and running after its pleasures which soon wane away: “And this world’s life is aught but means of deception.”

   The happy is the one who knows the reality of the word and gets ready for its burdens because the journey is distant and requires more provision, indeed, your Lord never wrongs His Servants.

             Leave
the world with a provision of piety

                            For your lifetime consists of days which are few

   These pages make clear the way of a Muslim from his Flight Home to the Enduring Home. It has been divided into 17 sections that contain more than hundred questions on the left hand side including the section number on the right hand side including the questions.

   These questions contain proofs and statements to open the way to Paradise. They make a Muslim understand everything he faces such as: Inheritance, death, and agonies. Moreover, a Muslim shall know that grave is full of darkness, pressure and questioning and then resurrection and rising to the Lord of the heavens and the earth. Then a Muslim shall know what will happen in those situations from gathering, worrying, sorrow, sweating and searching for intercessions, meeting the Lord of lands, facing sapped and fearful horrors. In these galaxies and creatures, the Basin, reckoning, and the Scale of deeds, feet will go down according to slips he committed without preparing himself to actions that will rescue him. There are treasures and gardens underneath rivers flow, which have been prepared for those who race for goodness.

   I hope that Allah would accept my good deeds and to deliver me safely to the final abode. I ask Allah not to make the world the biggest of our concern nor our ultimate knowledge, and I ask Him to make Paradise our final abode. I ask Him to reward me for guiding people to that abode, for the guide to the straight path shall have a great reward as was reported in the Hadith. So, I ask Allah to accept my words, overlook my slips, lighten my death agony and the days of my grave, and make my good deeds overcome my bad ones so as to win the highest gardens. Also, I ask Him to grant such paradise to the readers of my words, my parents, and to all Muslims. “guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity.”[2]

  Dear reader, though this book you shall know the right way and shall be able to correct my mistakes, so forgive me, remember my weakness, and hasten to advise me and correct my errors, and you shall have a share of my invocation and gratitude.   Praise and blessing be upon our Prophet Mohammed, his family, and his companions

Every day a man helps his animal carry its load or lift from it his goods is a charity. A good word is a charity. Every step he takes to pray is a charity and giving way is a charity.”
