The family system in Islam

All Praise is due to Allah and may Allah exalt the mention of His Prophet and render him and his household, his Companions, and those who follow their way safe from every evil, and grant them security on the Day of Resurrection.

To proceed:

The family system in Islam is a very significant issue. especially, in the recent time, because of its influences on the individual and society.

the family is core constituent of the society that comes as a result of bond created between a man and woman through a religious and legal relationship which is marriage.

The family gets expanded through children who grew up and maintain their relationship .

The family is Important  for the community of life and the existence of human race , it is crucial for the development of societies , establishment of human civilizations and making good use of resources that Allah created for us .

Allah the exalted says: « and of his signs is that he created for you from yourselves mates  that you  may find tranquility in them: he placed between you affection and mercy , indeed in that are signs for people who give thought » ( 30: 21)

The prophet Mohammad said: « o young men you should get married , for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and protecting one 's chastity .whoever cannot afford it should fast , for it will be a restraint for him.» [1].

In Islam The family is based on marriage , and The marriage is a great means for chastity and protecting people 's honor . it is  also lawful way for satisfying one 's sexual  desire to live in happiness and stability for this life . furthermore, marriage helps people to create kinship bonds between families and open new horizons for them to cooperate and get to know each other [2] .

The family is a basic unit of civilization , and Islam' s family system brings the rights of husband , wife ,children and relative into a fine equilibrium .

It nourishes unselfish behavior , generosity and love in the frame- work of a well-organized family system.

The peace and the security offered by the stable family unit is a greatly valued , and it is essential for spiritual growth of its members [3] .

Finally , we deduce that Islamic religion focused on The family system as a basic unit of  stability and development , therefore: the social order cannot be created without establishing harmonious , and well-organized families which connect wisely and fairly with one another in sense of love and respect.
