Hajj from an economic perspective

Hajj is a season and a conference, Hajj is a season and trade, a season of worship, a pilgrimage is a meeting and acquaintance conference, and a conference of coordination and cooperation.

Hajj is one of the pillars of Islam and a duty, in which the world and the hereafter meet, and the memories of Muslims, near and far.

In Hajj has a great economic significance, because it is an opportunity for legitimate material gain and other spiritual gain, which is a financial and physical worship, and its reward is all in the hereafter. The Almighty says ("There is no blame on you if you seek the Bounty of your Lord...)" [Al-Bagarah:198]. Al-Bukhari narrated about Ibn Abbas, may God bless him, in the reason of the revelation of this verse, is that the Majaz and the Okaz were the people's shop in Ignorance, when Islam came, as if they hated it, i.e. the Arabs were embarrassed from attending souks Ignorance, until this verse came down, and God allowed them to do so. In this verse, it is a reference to the need for the grace of Allah, which helps him to fulfill his right, and there is a share of Muslims or a power of religion. He is commendable and what he asks to retain his luck or for what he share himself. He is ailing. Once he has settled into the heart of the pilgrim, he feels that he is seeking the grace of God, so he is in a state of worship for God, which is not incompatible with the worship of hajj, in the direction of God.

Allah says: (That they may witness things that are of benefits to them...) [Hajj: 28]. The interpretation different of what was meant, some of which carried them to the benefits of the world, trade on the days of Hajj. Some of them have brought them to the benefits of the hereafter, from forgiveness and pardon. Ibn al-Jawzi says: "It is the most correct is the one who carry them on the benefits of all the two houses, because the intention is not to trade in particular, but to the origin of Hajj, and to trade after...".

In Hajj, economic, social and political benefits, in which cooperation and solidarity, and the Muslim's sense of Muslim brother, in which the souls are purification to connect to their Creator, in which there are many acts of righteousness and goodness. and spending and charity.

Here are the most important economic aspects of Hajj:

1) Hajj is an Islamic conference to solve the economic problems of Muslims, where millions of Muslims from all over the world, including economists, come to the holy places. It will be good opportunity to hold conferences, symposium and seminars to discuss The Islamic World's economic problems, in order to achieve the desired economic integration and coordination among the countries of the Muslim world.

2 ) Hajj is a call for the promotion of the Islamic economy, because hajj is a required to goods and services to perform the ritual of Hajj. He expense his money on commuting, buying food , drinks and clothes ,buying sacrifice and cost of accommodation.

3) Hajj is a call for the application of the Islamic economy, because hajj is a call to clean up transactions between people from the sinners and the ones who are cursed by usury, monopoly, fraud, ignorance, and eating of people's money by falsehood. The pilgrim should to avoid extravagance, waste and luxury spending. Hajj is a sincere call for the implementation of the Islamic economy in the Muslim world.

4) Hajj is an Islamic conference where Islamic international experiences, professionals, professionals, and all disciplines meet, thus taking the opportunity to develop economic relations between Muslims, and to discuss the problems of Food security, and the steps to achieve self-sufficiency for the countries of the Muslim world.

5) Hajj is an opportunity to seize the benefits of trade, work and livelihood, as well as the benefits of the camels and cattle and sacrifices of the poor, the poor and the needy, inside and outside the holy places, says Almighty (The camels and cattle' 'We have appointed them among the ceremonies of Allah. Therein ye have much good ) [Hajj:36].
