41- Their share of Hell-Fire shall be mattress from underneath and covers from above full of fire. This is the retribution of the disbelievers who harmed themselves by denying Our Ayahs and refused to accept them.

42- As for those who believed and followed their faith with righteous deeds and did not turn away, we do not burden a soul beyond its capacity; such people shall have their share of Paradise and will dwell therein forever.

43- We took off hatred and envy from the hearts of the believers (the dwellers of Paradise) underneath there are rivers flow out of luxury to please them. They would say with believing and thankful hearts: Praise be to Allah who guided us to win this permanent bliss and we had not been guided by ourselves and our efforts. Indeed, our Messengers were truthful in regard to the news which they had narrated about our Lord in terms of righteous actions in return for the promise of Paradise.

Angels would call them respectfully: This is Paradise which you were granted by the mercy of Allah and you took its ranks and degrees by your righteous actions that you used to do in this world, so enjoy it.

44- After entering Paradise and dwelling therein, the dwellers of Paradise would call the dwellers of Hell rebukingly: We have found the bliss and dignity which our Lord promised and as the Messengers informed us, have you found the torment and humiliation which your Lord had promised you?!

They will say: Yes, we found it.

Thereupon, a caller will announce to both teams: The curse of Allah is upon the disbelievers.

Thereby, the dwellers of Paradise will be more glad and the dwellers of Hell will be more sad.

45- They are the disbelievers who used to prevent people from entering the religion of Allah as they turned away from it and distorted it in favor of falsehood, despised it, and did not want it sound as it has been. Verily, they do not believe in resurrection nor in reckoning.

46- There is a barrier between Paradise and Hell which is the wall that was mentioned in Surat Al Hadid: 13 }So a wall will be put up between them, with a gate therein. . } to prevent any of the two teams to reach the other. On the top of that wall, there are some people whose good deeds will be equal to their bad deeds, who shall be waiting for Allah's Judgment to either enter Paradise or Hell, then Allah shall make them enter Paradise out of His Mercy. Such people know the dwellers of Paradise and the dwellers of Hell with distinct marks, so they salute the people of Paradise saying: Salamun `Alaykum (peace be upon you). Such people have not entered Paradise yet, but they hope for Alalh's Mercy in order to enter it, and finally they shall enter it.

47- When the sights of Al A`raf (the people on the wall) turn toward the dwellers of Hell-Fire and see their torment, they will say: O Allah, do not gather us with those disbelieving oppressors in Hell.

48- Al A`raf will call men from the leaders of disbelief whom they used to know in the world, and will say: The money, children, and support which you used to seek for protection shall not avail you, now you are in Hell without having any of these pleasures.

49- They will say also to the disbelievers: Are those the weak and the poor whom you were despising, mocking at, torturing, depriving them of their rights, and swearing that they shall not have a share of Allah's Mercy nor goodness, or they shall not deserve Paradise if they enter it?

Then it shall be said to Al A`raf or it shall be said to the weak: Enter Paradise by My Mercy without fear or sadness.

50- While the people of Hell are being tortured, they shall call the people of Paradise while they are enjoying pleasures: Pour some water on us or give us anything of what Allah bestowed on you from the food of Paradise, however they shall say: Indeed, Allah made them unlawful for the disbelievers.

Sa`id ibn Jubayr (may Allah bestow mercy on his soul) said: A man calls his father or brother and says: I have been burnt, pour some water on me. It will be said to them by angels: Answer them. Thereupon, they will answer: Verily, Allah has prohibited them for the disbelievers.
