Virgin Mary, the daughter of `Imran, was worshipping Allah in her niche while she was kneeling down and prostrating to the Lord of the Worlds. While she was worshipping Allah in this tranquility and comfort, a man entered upon her while she was alone sacrificing herself for the service of Jerusalem.

She was stunned, how did he enter and why? She feared for herself, and this is the nature of women who rapidly fear and feel worry because they are weak, and the meaning of their weakness is the weakness of their bodies because Mary was a milestone in her purity and devotion to Allah.

Behold! She saw a man before her who had no defect, so she sought forgiveness with her Lord, the Most Gracious, against that human without knowing that He was Gabriel, the Holy Spirit, whom Allah sent to her in the image of man. Allah (Glory be to Him) says: "She said: Verily, I seek refuge with the Most Gracious (Allâh) from you, if you do fear Allâh." [Surat Maryam: 18]. She was chaste and pure, therefore the first one she called was her Lord to protect her from that man because she supposed that he wants her for himself to direct her away from the worship of Allah. She said to him: I seek refuge in my Lord from you if you fear Allah, but she did not see any harm of him and he looked pious and well-mannered.

The answer was rapid from her Lord when He said: "(The angel) said: I am only a messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son." [Surat Maryam: 19] in order to remove any fear from her heart and to calm down to receive the command of her Lord for which He sent the Holy Spirit. After he had calmed her down, he said: "To announce to you the gift of a righteous son." That boy was Jesus the son of Mary (peace be upon him).

We will see next time how Virgin Mary received the news and that test?

Best Regards.
