The ethics and manners of fasting

Islamic Sharia has regulated jurisprudence in transactions and contracts developed a general approach for individuals in their various transactions to build their morals by fulfilling their needs and achieving their purposes. This approach to the building of morality required that the basis of the contracts of the transaction sit in the interests of society and the intentions of individuals.

It is no wonder, that it is the morality of Islam: instilling cooperation, fraternity, love, solidarity, compassion and justice, and what leads to the elimination of vast differences between individuals, no extravagance luxury or waste, so that the rich reach the limit of bliss and prosperity that is forbidden, and the poor will be hungry, so that the poor will be hungry and hungry except for pleasures or preventing the rich and every secret by a wasteful right.

Allah Almighty glorified stressed the strength of justice, saying " And those who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but hold amedium (way) between those (extremes)".( Al-forqan 67), Allah Almighty said, warning of waste" But spend not wastefully (your wealth) in the manner of aspendthrift * Verily, the spendthrifts are brothers of the Shayāṭīn (devils), and the Shaiṭān (Devil-Satan) is ever ungrateful to his Lord" AL-Isra (26-27). Allah said about luxury that destroys societies, and when we decide to destroy atown (population), Allah said "We (first) send adefinite order (to obey Allah and be righteous) to those among them [or we (first) increase in number those of its population] who lead alife of luxury. Then, they transgress therein, and thus the word (of torment) is justified against it (them). Then we destroy it with complete destruction"AL-Isra(16).

Therefore, one of the social ethics developed by the obligation of fasting is patience, strength of determination and the highest kind of trust, all of which are principles of ethics in contracts and transactions. Patience instills in itself the possibility of hunger and thirst, which are essentials of her life and survival, patience for the necessities of the most difficult and suffering of the soul, and thus patience for it is stronger and tighter.

The patience that fasting instills has an active role in the field of contracts and transactions, as it is a powerful weapon that resists excesses in the markets, fights the desires of the soul in its love for money and collects it by all means, and weighs financial actions on the basis of wisdom and balance and setting the record straight. If a patient contractor controls himself, success and success will be the contractors' ally in contracts conducts and transactions.

fasting nurtures in the soul the highest types of trust, and what we need in contracts and transactions to this high kind of honesty that fasting instills in the soul, so that people deal among themselves in order to seek the patients of Allah Almighty and under his supervision, so that there is no injustice and no eating of people's money by falsehood, fancy, hypocrisy or false manifestations.

The ethics developed by acts of worship in the soul is not only intended to be self-selfish morals of the person himself, but also to be a social morality that he deals with people. Therefore, the purpose of the worship was to educate and develop morality in the soul in order to improve the transactions and contracts that take place with people according to the year of life and the law of social human nature.
