Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be Pleased with them) was asked about the arrival (of people on the Day of Resurrection). He said: We shall come on the Day of Resurrection like this like this and see, carefully, that which concerns “elevated people”. He (the narrator) said: Then the people would be summoned with their idols whom they worshipped, one after another. Then our Rabb would come to us and say: For whom are you waiting? They would say: We are waiting for our Rabb. He would say: I am your Rabb. They would say: (We are not sure) until we gaze at Thee. He would manifest Himself smilingly to them, and would go with them and they would follow Him. Every person whether a hypocrite or a believer would be endowed with a light. There would be spikes and hooks on the bridge of Hell, which would catch hold of those whom Allah will.

Then the light of the hypocrites would be extinguished, and the believers would secure salvation. The first group to achieve it would comprise seventy thousand men who would have the brightness of the full moon on their faces, and they would not be called to account. Then the faces of the people immediately following them will be like the brightest stars in Heaven. This is how (the groups would follow one after another).

Then the stage of intercession would come, and they (who are permitted to intercede) would intercede until he who has declared: “There is no god but Allah” and has in his heart virtue of the weight of a barley grain would come out of the Fire. They would be then brought into the courtyard of Paradise. The inhabitants of Paradise would begin to sprinkle water over them until they sprout like the sprouting of a plant in flood water, and their burns would disappear. They would ask their Rabb until they are granted (the bounties) of the world and with them ten more besides. (Reported by Muslim, Hadeeth 367)

Suhayb ibn Sinan Ar-Rumi narrated that Allah’s Messenger (Peace be upon him) said: “When those deserving of Paradise would enter Paradise, the Blessed and the Exalted would ask: Do you wish Me to give you anything more? They would say: Hast Thou not brightened our faces? Hast Thou not made us enter Paradise and saved us from Fire?” He (the narrator) said: “He (Allah) would lift the veil, and of things given to them nothing would be dearer to them than the sight of their Rabb, the Mighty and the Glorious.” (Reported by Muslim, Hadeeth 347)

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be Pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: “Seventy thousand (persons) would enter Paradise as one group and among them (there would be people) whose faces would be bright like the moon.” (Reported by Muslim, Hadeeth 421)

Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be Pleased with him) narrated: I heard Allah’s Messenger (Peace be upon him) as saying: “the inmates of Paradise would eat and drink but would neither spit, nor pass water, nor void excrement, nor suffer catarrh.” It was said: Then, what would happen with food? Thereupon he said: “They would belch and sweat (and it would be over with their food), and their sweat would be that of musk and they would glorify and praise Allah as easily as you breathe.” (Reported by Muslim, Hadeeth 6798)

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be Pleased with him) narrated that Allah’s Messenger (Peace be upon him) said: “He who would get into Paradise (would be made to enjoy such an everlasting) bliss that he would neither become destitute, nor would his clothes wear out, nor his youth would decline.” (Reported by Muslim, Hadeeth 6802)

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (may Allah be Pleased with him) narrated that verily, Allah’s Messenger (Peace be upon him) said: “Amongst the inhabitants of Paradise the lowest in rank will be the person whose face Allah would turn away from the Fire towards the Paradise, and make a shady tree appear before him. He will say: O my Rabb! Direct my steps to this tree so that I (may enjoy) its shade;” and the rest of the Hadeeth is like that narrated by Ibn Mas’ud, but he did not mention: “He (Allah) would say: O son of Adam! What will bring an end to your making requests to Me” to the end of the tradition. In it, he added: Allah will remind him: Ask such and such, and when his expectations are realized, Allah will say: That is for you, and ten times as much. He will then enter his house and his two wives with large dark eyes will enter after him. They will say: Praise be to Allah Who has created you for us and us for you. He will say: No one has been given the like of which I have been given. (Reported by Muslim, Hadeeth 362)

The above quoted teachings from the Qur’an and the Sunnah (authentic Ahadeeth) which cover the different aspects of life for man’s development and success are just samples of the many Islamic virtuous teachings that can guide every sensible human being to attain complete peace and success. Non-Muslims who are blind of the comprehensive guidance that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) has brought to mankind are invited to open their minds and hearts to accept the truth about Allah’s Mercy to mankind and follow his teachings. Verily, only Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) through the Qur’an and his Sunnah offers the most comprehensive guidance to mankind. No other religion has ever come up with virtuous teachings that cover all aspects of life except Islam. Islam with all its economic, political, socio-cultural, educational, moral and spiritual teachings offers the best solution to all the world’s various perplexing problems.
