Al Hurriyah Convoy liberates us

No one is to be blamed if he turns off TV once he sees the United Nations meetings. No one is blamed if he blocks his ears in order not to hear the declarations of the Arab League; too many words are heard. However, some officials are still repeating those words as if we are not aware of the truth or they had lost their shyness.

The accident of Al Hurriyah Convoy that was attacked by the Jewish soldiers while being in the international water does not need any analysis. I wish we could have some of the boldness of the Jews to do as they did or even rebel against "legitimacy" which the powerful people do not believe in, but the weak are hanging by. Zionists did not hesitate for a second although the convoy was peaceful and carrying humanitarian aids! They did not pay attention to potential conviction or to be accused by terrorism. In fact, they did as the powerful people do even if they are criminal, aggressors, and abhorred, but we cannot hide our admiration with fixing a target and following the goal without moving a single hair.

Although the boldness of the Jews, we observe their apparent cohesion: a politician is planning, a soldier is implementing, a religious man is justifying, a media person is re-filming the scene, an intellectual advocates, the public is either silent and satisfied or indifferent, and each opponent understands the other's view. O Allah, grant Muslims such an organized and harmonious system to use in right, justice, and good.

It is better for people to take initiatives to help their Muslim brothers and sisters in Palestine in general and in Gaza in particular. Current governments are not as bold as the occupation government. It seems that the concerned systems do not pay attention to that obligation, do not fear Allah, and do not fear of scandals that will stain them sooner or later.

Let Gaza be the first case in which we liberate ourselves from the control of governments and their attitudes. Seas rejoice at freemen and the earth is pleased with their steps. Perhaps, the Arab government may satisfy this independence, but it rather will be the best proof to its democracy against the reports of the American government.

It is wise that these actions be taken by countries that do not fear because of its openness along with some freedom and system, such as Kuwait and Qatar, for instance, or for showing sympathy, such as Algeria and Greece, or for all these reasons along with showing unique situations, such as Turkey. It is suitable to cooperate with European, American, and Asian institutions and gathering citizens from powerful countries so that we can gain the sympathy of the world and embarrass the silent government before their peoples.

The Western and Arab media are very effective in undermining the mental picture of Israel, and useful to uncover the Arab channels which showed inclination to Zionism more than Zionists themselves. It is also useful for media men and writers who stand alone without supporters; verily pictures and words are very effective!

We cannot speak about the convoy without praising the role of Turkey, its brave prime minister, and its people who stick hardly to their nation. Away from interpretations of propaganda for the Turkish role, Muslims have to welcome this return through the establishment of various exhibits, buying Turkish products, going to Turkey for tourism, setting up conferences there, supporting the Turkish position by elites, paying visits to Turkish embassies to show support, and asking the Arab governments to follow the steps of Turkey.

I hope that efforts will not stop at lifting the siege from Gaza. It is incumbent upon us to protect Palestine and its sacred sites as well as other Muslim sites. Time showed us the failure of Governments —if we think high of them— but this is the time of peoples, community institutions, elites, and oriented means, and the general Muslim by all classes, perhaps the nation of Islam would restore its status. I am sure that the goal shall be achieved if we put our trusts in Allah then submitted to Him through multiple means and levels, without fear!
