We have become free

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

We lived in our country a period like nightmare that we have been through for ages. The oppressed and the hard-working protested for freedom, security, social justice, and humanity.

The previous regime in Egypt under the leadership of "Husni Mubarak," who exalted himself in the land and made its people sects, weakening (oppressing) every person who wants to reform in the land even if the reform is worldly and not related to religion! The regime had a military and security arsenal to fight anyone dares to stand in the face of that regime.

The revolution was not a result of the heat of the moment and did not take place suddenly, but it was an inevitable result of the policy of pressure, repression, oppression, and the injustice done to all those who belong to this secure country except those who are connected with the authority for any reason. The previous regime was truly "Tyrant;" it was dealing with its own people as if it hated them or as if it took power by their enemies and people became as if they were in a prison or a large internment camp that was called: "The Arab Republic of Egypt." If you want a proof to that corruption, look around you and you shall recognize the defect and corruption in which we were living.

Recently, the last period has witnessed several protests, sits-in, and different demonstrations in different spots in Egypt which all ended up into nothing. The security forces separated the demonstrations harshly and violently, then started to arrest all participated in those demonstrations and locked them for ages by the virtue of the security forces that represented the first guarantee and the honest guards for keeping that regime alive.

Until the last demonstrations, which turned suddenly to a violent revolution, stood in the face of that regime and challenged it. As a result, the liberation square as well as other squares all over the republic have witnessed a great epic which history will write down forever. Security forces killed a large number of demonstrators which exceeded 300 and that loser regime thought it would suppress and separate those crowds. However, the regime forgot that oppression shall be removed and the bad end of the oppressors will be catastrophic.

As usual, it used the security forces which it made for itself in order to protect the regime from the danger of those who got out of their holes. Therefore, it sent security forces to beat the heads of the rebels, but it neither worked out with them nor weakened their determination, but increased the strength of their stance and the number of their men.

The regime was not satisfied with the security forces represented in the general security forces, the police, and state security, (or you may say: the state fear), but sought the help of the army. The army went down the square and shook hands with their Muslim brothers and promised not to harm them. The president was shocked and he was like the one who sought shield from swelter with fire and ended up with the declaration of the president's stepping down and authorizing the army to rule the state.

Presidents forgot that they were working at their people. Yes, they are only workers who take salary from the people. When those people became our rulers, they said: We shall judge among you with justice -and claimed- we shall provide the ways of comfort, security, good living, and the bliss for you. They found some people to support them, therefore time has passed and we did not see much of them but they broke all promises and caused a great corruption.

The perishing regime did not only use the security forces and the armed forces to fight the rebels but also used the media and the minister of information whom it created carefully to defame the revolution and the rebels, and later on they excused by gathering false information. The media described them as traitors, have foreign agenda, and they are get paid for the revolutions and protests, in addition to a long list of accusations. That oppressed group observed patience and raised their demands until they demanded the stepping down of the whole regime after their utmost demands were freedom, justice, and improving the internal conditions.

Yes, their goal and their first demand is the stepping down of the regime by all its figures and patrons. They observed patience for 18 days during which we lived a state of anticipation, alertness, and attention.

As a result of this endurance and solidity in the situation, the head of the regime resigned, its entire systems broke apart, and some of them were put to trial and the rest will come soon.

The first goal was achieved which was the stepping down of the regime represented in the president and now they are demanding to put to trial every person is convicted by oppression, robbery, or wasting the money of this country.

We should note something important which is the stepping down of the president does not mean that the regime has gone but the patrons are still in their positions and those were controlling the country. So, we should not miss out that point and we should remember all the time until we get rid of the last member of this gang.

Moreover, overlooking those people will be a direct reason in failing this revolution because the patrons will receive the next and make him a third Pharaoh.

We should also note that one of the biggest motto of this revolution was "A state that is neither civil nor religious". We accepted that state as a temporary solution and an initiative principle so that people can live in security and freedom. As a result, the callers to Allah will call and teach the people their religion then they go to the next step which is the application of the Islamic Shari`ah.

With our conviction and belief that the only optimal solution lies in the application of Islamic Shari`ah because the Shari`ah contains a constitution if the nation follows, every hope and dream will become true, but the gains of this revolution is the first step in achieving this.

We have become truly free now, we feel that we are not slaves to anyone. We pray in the mosques in comfort and tranquility, lessons are taking place smoothly and easily, so glory be to Allah, the Ever-Granter!

If this revolution is for freedom and social justice, perhaps the next revolution -In sha' Allah- will call for the application of the Islamic Shari`ah. We shall all stand in front of any one, lay bare our chests to ransom our religion, and apply it in all aspects of life, therefore, now we have to prepare the people to accept and believe this.

Thus is the end of the oppressors and its people. Allah (Glory be to Him) says: "Consider not that Allâh is unaware of that which the Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrong-doers) do, but He gives them respite up to a Day when the eyes will stare in horror." [Surat Ibrahim: 42]. Allah (Glory be to Him) says: "Verily, the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) shall never be successful." [Surat Al An`am: 21]. It was authentically reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Beware of oppression because oppression will be darknesses on the Day of Recompense." [1]

Glory be to Allah who is Exalted. Glory be to the King whose Kingdom does not vanish. Glory be to the cherished who gives glory to those who are connected to Him.

So the root of the people who did wrong was cut off. And all praise and thanks are Allâh’s, the Lord of the ‘Alamîn (mankind, jinn, and all that exists). Allah is sufficient for us and how fine a trustee He is!
