Education from an economic perspective (1)

The educational system played a key role in establishing the moral values of society. On this basis, the requirements of modern civilization make the educational system vital to the development of society.

The realities of the changes that have taken place in different societies throughout history have confirmed that a society based on a closed educational system will, sooner or later disappear. The open and constantly renewed educational system to meet the needs of nationals and the requirements of modern civilization can play an evolutionary role..

Although these observations are now a obvious things, economic research specializing in the economics of education is new, and the ideas and opinions generated by the problems have not been received. The educational economy with the necessary attention only for a period of not more than forty years.

Dr. Munther Abdulaslam in his book says "A Study in the Economics of Education" that emphasizing the novelty of interest in the economics of education does not necessarily mean that economic thought during its stages of development has been totally neglected. The relationship between education and economics was full of observations and opinions about education and its role in economic life.

This interest has reached such an extent that it may be difficult to find these days an economy or a scheme that overlooks the role of education in economic life.

This increased interest in the education sector and its role in economic development are due to several fundamental factors, including:

1-The growing focus on economic development.

2- The great expansion of the educational sector, whether the reasons for this expansion are economic or social.

3- Emphasizing the role of the human factor in the process of economic growth.

The theme "The Economics of Education" has many aspects. Rather, it is an investment that may yield more than the money spent in agriculture, trade and industry.

The focus on the role of education in economic development remains the logical entry point for the study of the economics of education.

Education has a direct impact on individual behaviour in relation to consumption, and ignorance is often the main cause of consumer bungling and the prevalence of ‎Conspicuous consumption.

The improvement in the educational level of the individual certainly helps greatly in developing the trend towards sound spending.

Scientifically proven, individual talents and abilities of the individual cannot grow without care and care, based on sound educational means.

Thus, education by developing the talents and capabilities of individuals plays an essential role in the development of science and the arts, this development is reflected in economic life, where creativity and innovation are spread in the means of Production, transportation and exploration of untapped resources.

Dr. Munther Abdeslam says that despite the role of education in economic development, educational planning was a separate field.

Because educational spending and spending in other sectors need to be reconciled, new linkages have been formed between educational planning and economic planning, governed by the state's overall financial situation.

In developing countries, increased interest in the education sector, due to the recognition of the role of education in the development process, has been the development of educational planning and its link to economic planning.

Linking educational planning to economic planning requires comprehensive and integrated studies of all human resources and economic materials.

This means that the study of population size, growth rate, quality, movements and professional distribution, all linking to the findings of the study of existing economic conditions and future forecasts, are the basis for determining The relationship between educational planning and economic planning.

Economic development and educational development are inseparable, and the focus on economic development necessarily leads to the upgrading of the educational sector.

In fact, attention to the problems of education is not born today, but what has emerged is the magnitude of this interest and the development of studies related to development problems, especially in the countries in which this Underdeveloped world is included The retard who is called the third world.
