There are some morals in the West which are not in us, although it is we who should have these morals. We note that when they speak, they try to be honest and truthful in their speech unlike us, however it is one of the characteristics to which Islam guided. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. And a man keeps on telling the truth until he becomes a truthful person. Falsehood leads to Al-Fajur (i.e. wickedness, evil-doing), and Al-Fajur (wickedness) leads to the (Hell) Fire, and a man may keep on telling lies till he is written before Allah, a liar."

Why did we move away from those beautiful qualities, and new customs and traditions, which are not related to Islam, began to sneak into our life?!

Of the manners of the West also is that each person does not have a relation with the other and does not try to compliment him with sweet words, does not backbit or speak badly about someone, and does not cheat one another. Each one of them cares for himself only because to them time is gold, so they do not waste their times in idle talks, but serious work; this is the way of developed countries which are able to create a civilization, thought, and conscious.

What is our stance from them?

I ask you: Should a Muslim have the qualities which I have mentioned or not? Unfortunately, we are going back.

Did our Prophet (peace be upon him) teach us to stand still helpless and do not have anything useful to do to ourselves? Is this the reality of Islam?
