"Al Hurrah Channel" a lesson for press tyrants

All praise be to Allah, the lord of bounties, and may Allah’s Peace and Blessings be upon the Prophet and those who follow his Sunnah.

The report of congress commission of foreign affairs was a slap on the face of Al Hurrah employees, which has an American agenda but speaks Arabic.

The report mentioned that the Channel lacked credibility and failed in its duties. It also admitted that the goal behind establishing the Channel, which was polishing US image in the Arab world, did not work out.

The reported concluded that the Channel has no actual role in the media as proved when the American president delivered his first speech to Arab media in another TV channel.

Furthermore, the report called for cutting the American annual fund, estimated by $90 millions, implicitly indicating the probability of stopping the Channel, which raised employees' fears of losing their jobs.

This incident is in harmony with Allah's Saying: "Verily, those who disbelieve spend their wealth to hinder (men) from the path of Allah, and so will they continue to spend it; but in the end it will become an anguish for them. Then they will be overcome. And those who disbelieve will be gathered unto Hell." [Surat Al Anfal: 36].

The Americans regretted the funds they had spent and decided to cut the fund; and we expect their defeat in this world and their disgrace in the Hereafter.

This expected consequence for that malicious trumpet is a clear-cut warning for media men in our beloved kingdom, who made their newspapers a platform for attacking religion and scholars, and a mean for spreading desires and doubts among the Muslim community violently.

These steps are considered clear cooperation with external powers that press our country severely, pushing them towards more concessions at all levels for the sake of achieving evil goals that are no longer seen by eyewitnesses who live with a daily cultural war against the Muslim community.

It is an eloquent divine warning to those authors and editors in chief, informing them that Allah (He may be Glorified and Exalted) is more swift in planning and more powerful.

Anyone dares to attack religion or spread adultery among Muslims, call to it, hinder people from the way to Allah and raise doubts, or call  them to follow the steps of their enemy that aim at pushing people away from their religion shall have the same punishment or even more.

Let us have a look at the severe punishment of Allah when He spoke about hypocrites in the beginning of Surat Al Baqarah: "These are they who have purchased error with guidance, so their commerce was profitless. And they were not guided." [Surat Al Baqarah:16].

The most important matter is not losing this battle, but losing the hope for repentance. Allah says: "Allah has set a seal upon their hearts" [Surat An-Nahl: 108], to which Allah indicated with His Saying: "And they were not guided." The matter is serious unless Allah almighty shows Mercy to them.

Yet, there are many good news for dissipating westernization away from our Muslim World, which we have to talk about as good news for defeating that group of people in parallel with rejecting despair and its causes.
