Al Majd Channel and the desired effect!

Ten years ago we did not see any Islamic channel in the list of satellite channels offered by the television to Arab viewers. There were some semi-Islamic channels, which saturated with national creed and the glorification of the soil of one's homeland! There were also some religious programs that are broadcast from time to time in some satellite channels.

A few years ago Al Majd Satellite Channel joined the satellite system as the first Islamic channel. It entered the media field strongly in a time where Islamic media was suffering a state of famine and drought, whereas other low channels and their bad ideas have spread and affected the Muslim society and thought. The truth is that Al Majd Channel could provide a quantum leap in the field of Islamic media. Many callers and reformers took their chances to show on this channel because a new pulpit was opened for them to call for the way of Allah. The Channel has entertained during its career a number of callers and scholars and opened the field before many of them to present special religious lessons on this Channel. However, as long as the Channel has become the focus of interests and the follow-up of many viewers in the Muslim countries, it is important to entertain wide scope of famous scholars and callers from all over the world.

In fact, people are tired of seeing the same faces again and again. I do not say that the callers who show up on the screen do not play their role well, nay they are from the best callers and scholars who spread goodness all over the world.

However, there are prominent Islamic figures who have their experience in calling to Allah and infeluence on the soceity, and have many followers. The Channel may gain more audience from all over the world by entertaining those scholars.

Where are the creative scholars and callers?

Why there is no weekly or monthly meeting with such good scholars and other prominent figures?

The Channel should come out from the narrow regional framework and open new horizons toward internationalism. Media is an opportunity for the interdependence of Islamic societies and the unity of its direction and goals. We want to see Al Majd Channel go for a new start that includes the Muslim world and live the reality of Muslim communities and spread the spirit of one group in the selves of the followers.
