Beyond that, by 2020, the Internet is likely to create a full universe in cyberspace, including trade, money, electronic libraries and virtual universities, operating on-line and cyber medicine. But the world after 2020 will be even more exciting, when computers become so powerful and diffuse that the earth's surface becomes a living membrane with planetary intelligence, forming the legendary magic mirror, which has been repeatedly mentioned in fairy tales.
