Our generation and their generation

"What is this generation?" a word that many people used to repeat these days when they reach a dead end with their children as an attempt to get rid of the resulting responsibility of their rearing and throwing all responsibility on the change of time.

In fact, I paused to ponder over the following Ayah: (Verily, Allâh will not change the (good) condition of a people as long as they do not change their state (of goodness) themselves (by committing sins and by being ungrateful and disobedient to Allâh). [Surat Ar-Ra`d: 11], and found that most problems, which we consider insolvable, are handmade. Feisty or stubborn children do not have a problem with the time in which they live but the problem lies within the educators who could not be a model example for them in the first place.

If we put this divine law into account when we face obstacles in our life, we would not have borne that heavy burden of our sins. If each one of us became faithful with himself, he will find that he owns the key for change which is to start to reform himself from inside and try not to get out of that framework, no matter how heavy his burdens are because Allah sent down the cure and the solution, and made that divine law. So, our generation did not change but we are the one who were changed and did not seek to promote our educational abilities according to the requirement of our time because our religion is valid for every time, all natures, and all generations.

Let us stop repeating what other people are saying without consciousness, and every person should accuse himself because repeating words will not bring about results but taking initiative in understanding the ordinances of our religion first and understanding our reality and its requirements then frequent search for a real role model for those whom we support because all of you are guardians and shall be held accountable for your subjects.
