Is there a relationship between masturbation and menses?

Question

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds and peace be upon the most honorable Messenger.

My beloved ones, I want to deliver my message and regret badly, is there anyone who can answer my question and give a solution to my problem?

I feel that the matter is beyond my capacity, but the problem is: I have got a strong desire to masturbate directly before my period. It is important to say that my period is not regular and when I do that I feel severe regret because I memorize the whole volume of the Qur'an and I exert my efforts in worship, such as: Fasting, staying up at night for worship, and loving goodness, however this worries me a lot. It is worth mentioning that I only masturbate before my period, is there any relationship between masturbation and my period? I am 27 and I have not married yet, but I feel that the action is forbidden as if I commit adultery. When I masturbate, I recall some Ayahs and Hadiths to stop myself but it does not happen, what should I do? I do not want to disobey Allah and I seek Allah's Forgiveness for my sin and my weakness, what is the solution?

Take it easy, you are fine by the will of Allah. Of the favors of Allah on us is that He facilitated repentance for His Servants of all sins and faults.

I do not know any connection between menses and masturbation, but the irregularity of your period may indicate a hormonic disorder, you should see a gynecologist to discover the secret of this relationship.

One of the effective means for any person to get rid of this bad habit is to search for other means of joy, such as: Establishing a project and extending friendship with righteous women and girls because this is the immune fort which shall protect you from the pressure of lust and the pressure of this habit. Reminding yourself of your achievements has a great impact on keeping a positive feeling about yourself and that will protect you from the feeling of lowness and running after Satan and his insinuations.

Finally, of Allah's Favors upon you is that you have that awareness and that great mind, so thank Allah for that.
