My wife wants divorce without reason

Question

As-salamu `Alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuh (May Allah's Peace, Mercy, and Blessings be upon you!)

I am a young man who has been married one year ago. I love my wife very much, but the problem is: My wife desires me much when I am at work but when I return home, her desire disappears.

Thanks to Allah, we speak frankly with one another and give special care to our sexual needs.

Now she asks for divorce, and I do not know what to do.

Answer

In the name of Allah who guides people to the truth and He is the One whose aid is to be implored. Peace be upon you!

It is wrong in solving psychological and sexual problems to choose divorce as a solution to end up pain. You love one another and you have good communication and the ability to make a dialogue and speak openly about your sexual needs.

Perhaps, your valued wife needs to visit a psychiatrist to see the reason for not fulfilling the sexual rights of her husband. I advise you to visit one of the certified psychological centers or a hospital before ending up this relationship. May Allah fix things between you, grant you self-peace, and grant you and your wife happiness and stability. Amen!

Allah is the only who knows the truth.
