A Monk Blood for Easter pie!

Back to Adolf Crémieux to whom we indicated previously to shed more light on his role in the incident of Damascus which occurred in 1840. In that year, the Jews in Damascus massacred a Christian monk whose name was Father Thomas to use his blood in their religious rituals.

Because the monk was under the French protection, the French Consul investigated the matter and ordered the police to arrest a number of Jews, but James Rothschild (the Professor commander of Crémieux as Lionel Rotchelad was the professor and commander of Disraeli in UK) with his strong influence was able to raise French public opinion and embarrassed the prime minister who entered with him in a furious battle on the pages of newspapers.

Crémieux decided to travel to Damascus to investigate the incident, and he went there along with two others at the expense of Rothschild. The three managed to release and acquit the detainees, then they went to Sultan `Abdul-Hamid in Astana to get Firman in favor of the Jews.

When Crémieux returned to Paris, the Jews received him along the way with cheers and demonstrations.

However, the French government has been able to realize the genuine link between Freemasonry and that incident.

Subsequently, the French Government seized the Library of the Grand Orient and deposited it entirely in the library of the Grand National in Paris.

The library is still there until now.

Moreover, there are some evidences on the connection between the Dreyfus issue and Freemasonry which was very similar to the case of Damascus in the intervention of Freemasonry, raising the issue on the pages of newspapers, challenging the prime minister, and putting pressure on the government!
