Young people are the class upon which the future of peoples of all time depend. Young people are the essential constituent for the advancement of countries because all countries rely on young people to change its reality for the better. Youths have potential energies and if these energies are invested and directed properly, they will be productive rather than consuming, and thus they shall be constructive and more developing to the economy.

But with great sadness, our country and government have not showed any interest in developing this inactive class in order to be active and productive. If we speak about unemployment, we see that youths in our country are graduated and get their certificates to sit at home waiting for the right chance which is absent.

If we speak about education, the education system in our country is old and discouraging, and always pushes students to fields that do not match their interests and attitudes.

If we speak about educative, sport, and recreational youth centers, we see them non-existent and if they are available, they will be unsuitable which leads youths to go to illegal ways that are not acceptable to the society or the Shari`ah.

Thus, youths lack the most basic essentials that make them true men who help in building the future of their country or even their own future. Such negligence generates criminals and outlaws because inattention made their basis fragile and we cannot build upon this fragile basis because the construction would be liable to fall.

Thus is the reality of our country Iraq (the country of civilizations) in which officials have never thought about the most important constituent in building its future like other countries.

Therefore, we do not develop or make progress like other countries which develop, whereas we are still standing in the same place if not deteriorating.
