Jama’at-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir has strongly condemned the British government’s decision to ban internationally famed Islamic scholar Dr Zakir Naik Britian from entering the country, terming it dictatorial, undemocratic and anti-Islamic.

Dr Zakir Naik, 44-year old Islamic scholar and preacher, was scheduled to give a series of lectures in London and northern England, but new Home Secretary Theresa May has decided to bar him. Jama’at has demanded immediate revocation of ban.
