Sixty-two years have elapsed since the occupation of Palestine. During that period, the Arab-Zionist conflict passed by several wars and much blood was shed on the path of jihad for the sake of liberating the Sacred Sites. We often heard the phrase "Arab-Israeli conflict," so Arabs believed that they were alone in the conflict and they were not able to confront the mythic power of the Zionist war machine. On the other hand, the Jews were convinced that their enemy is the Arabs, therefore, they kept things under control in order to control most of the Arabs and deprive Arabs of owning weapons that match up with the Jewish weapons. Indeed, the spilled blood was almost the blood of Arabs which reinforced that concept and canceled the claim about the Islamic-Jewish nature of the conflict. However, the Turks' blood, which was shed in Al Hurriyyah Convoy (the Convoy of Freedom) in the open sea, corrected the course, showed the truth, refuted the claims about  the Arab-Israeli conflict, and raised the voices of those who claimed that the conflict is religious.

However, the blessed blood of Turks did not only achieve that goal, but also ushered in the approach of breaking the besiege and showed the sufferings of Gaza Strip to the entire world long time before sending that Convoy. That blood was a sacrifice offered by those Turks for the sake of delivering their message to the entire world. Some activists said: "We did not reach Gaza, but we delivered Gaza to the world." This was true in spite of the Jewish planning and depended on the World Cup to make the entire world forget what happened to the Convoy and its martyrs, but this did not happen —by the will of Allah— because Allah is the One who moves things wherever He wills. Our Scholars said: Religion is victorious by its people and by its enemies. Jews are planning for their lives, but their plans lead them to death by Allah's Will.

Al Huriyyah Convoy and the blood of Turks (may Allah have mercy on their souls) had the great favor after Allah (Glory be to Him) in achieving several goals; I recall, for example, without limitation:

1- Correcting the course by taking the conflict back to its religious nature. It has become an Islamic-Jewish conflict after it had been an Arab-Israeli conflict and foreign Muslims were showing support as any other Western supporters. However, the blood of Turks dragged the Turkish State into the conflict by our side and considered itself an enemy to the Jewish entity.

This pushes us to be smarter and to take advantage of the enmity of Turkey to its prior friend. If we do not show wisdom, we will lose the Turkish side. I am sure we shall not lose it —by the will of Allah— from a religious prospective because Allah alone is the One Who permitted that to happen but this will not prevent us from pursuit the means which Allah commanded us to follow. Therefore, we have to maintain our relationship with Turkey lest Israel could figure out the situation and get Turkey back to its side.

2- Ushered in the approach of breaking the besiege: Now we hear the voice of America, the European Union, and others who call to end that besiege. We are sure that all accidents are done by American-Jewish planning, but we depend on rule of "things shall change to the better." Even if lifting the besiege is a Jewish request, at the end we have reached a conclusion that they had failed in twisting the arm of resistance.

3- Opening Rafah border crossing for an indefinite period, which is positive.

4- Kuwait's initiative to withdraw the Arab initiative for fake peace, which is good work according to the positive initiatives expected from all Arab countries.

5- The rise of human voice and the awakening of free conscience in the free world. This helps in bringing the case to the Western peoples, instead of Zionist media dominance over them.

6- Bringing new people to Islam such as Tali Fahima who was touched by what was going on in Palestine since the events of Jenin until Sheikh Ra'id Salah convinced her.

These are only few things of the favors that Allah bestowed upon us from that blessed Convoy. Therefore Muslims have to use these events to change themselves instead of the current surrender which is no longer justified.
