Syria .. why?

Verily, all praise be to Allah (may He be Exalted). We praise Him and seek His Help and Forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allah against the evils of our own selves and our bad actions. Whom Allah guides, there is no one can mislead and whoever has been misled no one can guide him. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone who has no partner and I bear witness that Muhammad is His Servant and Messenger.

The whole world sees and hears what is happening in the Arab countries, particulary in the middle east which is the source of fortunes and the secret of leadership. So, whoever leads the middle east, may lead the entire world; and that is the goal of USA since the WWI. The Tunisian revolution ended by the escape of Bin Ali, the Egyptian revolution ended by the the abdication of Mubarak, and the Libyan revolution ended by the killing of Gaddafi, and the hopes of these peoples became true.

As for the Syrian revolution, it took so long and Bashshar started to kill his own people mercilessly and the entire world stood still; is it because of the power of Syria? Is it because of the respect to the wish of Russia and China? No, but because there are no economic interests between the European Union Countries and USA from one side and Syria from the other side. Therefore, they are slowing down any decision concerning Syria. When the Libyan revolution took place, representative of NATO and the security council held a meeting to adopt a resolution about the armament of the Libyan rebels and the NATO started operations against the regime of Muammar Gaddafi. Shortly thereafter, the operations started, the rebels defeated the regime of Muammar, and they killed him, but why did the West do so?

● Because Libya is one of the biggest oil producing countries and the continuation of war will hinder the interests of the super countries because the prices of oil will raise.

● Refunding the treasury of the European Union with billions of dollars, and we all know the critical economic status of Europe and the state of austerity imposed by the Union on its peoples.

● It is well known that Libya was living a semi-political isolation, especially after the siege that has been imposed upon it since 1992 after the Lockerbie accident in 1989. Hence, USA wanted to form a new Libya according to its own desire. Furthermore, the entire world was on alert when the Egyptian revolution started because of the unique strategic location of Egypt, where it is the heart of the world. The cripple of the economic and political life in Egypt means the cripple of the economic and political life in the whole world because of the Suez Canal which most ships from all over the world are passing by. This Canal connects the east with the West and the north with the south, and there is no country satisfies to see its ships standing a month or more in the middle of the sea because of the conditions of Egypt; therefore the whole world was eager to the abdication of Mubarak in order to keep their interests safe.

As for Syria, its relation with the outside world is weak. This is the policy of Hafiz Al Asad where he was eager to cut his relation with the countries of the world with the exception of Iran and Russia because they are the main sources for the Syrian weapons. Therefore, the Syrian rebels did not find any outside help either from the Muslim or the Christian countries, I mean the military aid.

I know that the reader may say: USA has requested in the Security Council meeting to adopt a resolution of military intervention in Syria, where many countries agreed to that, despite the Russian and the Chinese veto. Dear reader, USA has demanded the Security Council to intervene militarily in Iraq, where many countries objected and Russia and China used the veto. However, USA did not pay attention to these opinions and objections and invaded Iraq. So, if the USA wants to terminate the regime of Bashshar, it can do so alone but it wants to exhaust Syria in this war and drain the power of the Syrian armed forces equipped by the latest Russian weapons in order to leave it helpless in the face of Israel. We all know that Syria is the only Arab country which owns the s300 Russian missile system which is able to attack any Israeli city. Moreover, it can hit the Israeli fighters at a distance of 200 kms, so if USA ended the rule of Bashshar, the rebels will assume power, possess these weapons, and stand in the face of Israel.

Russia and China .. The political stupidity:

I do not know how these two countries think?! Their competition with USA has engaged them and made them forget about their economic and political interests. The Syrian revolution is a golden opportunity came to Russia to restore its power and relationships with the Middle East, especially with the Arab countries which declined after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Perhaps if Russia had stood by the side of the rebels, the sight of the Arab countries would have directed, especially the Gulf States, to Russia to buy weapons instead of USA. We all know that the Gulf States from the more buying countries to American and French weapons, and changing the direction of the Gulf States to Russia means a financial refresh to Russia which has become a poor country after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

As for China, I find it so stupid; a major industrial country like China needs more and more oil to support its different industries; so what will happen if it had stood by the side of the Syrian rebels to guarantee enough share of the gulf oil. Moreover, it may become a fertile land for the gulf investments because we all know that since the eighties of the last century, China opened its land for investment for all nationalities.

Short time ago, I heard that China wants to cooperate with the gulf states in the field of Petroleum, but this will not happen but after China changes its policy toward the Syrian and Iranian regimes.
