Transformation process in the direction of the Islamic Trend

The goal of the Islamic movement is to create a new society somewhere in the world to gratify the Islamic teachings and act to apply these teachings into its government, political, economic, and social organization, as well as its relations with other countries, its educational system, its moral values and all other aspects in its lifestyle.

The process of transition to the Islamic trend is the systematic and progressive effort that will reach its peak when achieving that society.

This of course raises the following question: Is there an Islamic way to achieve that shift to the direction of the Islamic trend? In other words, does Islam identify only the objective that should be reached and leave to the individuals the choice of select the means to achieve that goal, or does it also identify the means by which the individuals can reach the goal?

The answer to this question will be clear as soon as we start to look at some of the key issues contained therein.

How does a social order come to exist?

The answer to this question depends in its last analysis on the view of human to the nature of truth because some social results depend on the proper performance of certain actions, which in turn is based on the belief that there is a causal relationship between these actions and the desired result. Choosing those causal actions depends on the human concept to the truth as a whole. The materialists who believe basically that there is nothing in this universe but matter and motion will not include some actions such as Salah, intentions, or ethical values because —according to his view— those things do not refer to anything but just names, therefore, they will remain just names without impact.

If the means that are used to achieve the objectives relate to those actions —from the human point of view to the universe—, the transition process to the Islamic trend must be linked to the Islamic point of view towards life. This has been confirmed through the fact that Islam is a message and a system. It is considered as a set of facts that a Muslim must transform into reality, and it is the system in which this process takes place.

The principles of that system were mentioned in the Qur’an, but we cannot understand them properly except in the context of the prophet’s biography that is the correct interpretation to those principles.
I shall explain in details that system which I hope to be inclusive and I shall begin with the issues that are related to concepts until I reach some practical details.
