Cars are one of the modern inventions that were granted to men. People's view differs: children think it is fun, and cars control the dreams and interests of teenagers and when they have them, they take them as play and fun and may cause them to die or kill people with. As for the grownups, cars are a great blessing because they cut distance, save time, and help the people to reach their ends. However, some people consider them a trap to spoil women, as if women have nothing to do but driving cars.

I have pondered over cars and found some lessons and wisdoms:

• No one is allowed to drive a car before getting much training and learning traffic laws then get a license. I wondered at those who attack the Shari`ah and give fatwas without knowledge and without the permission of scholars. As a result, some of them become either "extremists" or "reckless."

• Before driving a car, we have to prepare it well to reach our end safely, however some people are not aware of this rule and refuse to admit the theory of "observing long patience," leaning on good intention and clarity of conscience. Major squares have witnessed the crash of luxurious cars and the death of the people who were inside without benefiting from their structure nor the power of their engine!

• The one who drives a car always watches the fuel tank and makes sure of the validity of tires. Likewise, those who begin something have to make sure they are qualified for that matter.

• A car driver does not stop in the middle of the road. Likewise, those who have a clear goal should not bargain with their principles to reach half-solutions.

• A car driver is trying to reach his goals without looking back except through the mirror so that he may see the people without seeing him. People of high responsibilities and deep visions go on their ways without looking to the people of weak hopes and determination or to cowards.

• When a car driver wants to turn right or left, he has to alert others so as not to collide with someone else. Therefore, anyone wants to change his mind about something may ask scholars first lest he might be wrong and benefit from their advice!

• A skilled and subtle driver takes into account the rights of other cars, however some of us think they are the only drivers on the road and do not respect the rights of others. As a result, others try to harass them and narrow the road to force them abide by the rules.

• There is no car in the world but needs to refill fuel, change oil, constant cleaning, and engine checking, in addition to all other checkups that keep the car working and safe. However, it is amazing to find that some people do not seek to refresh their knowledge, review their views, and diversify their culture as if they are example to follow after the Prophet (peace be upon him).

• A car driver is pleased to register a new car under his name but he is not pleased to register an old car. Likewise, intellectuals, writers, and politicians should seek good and noble ideas to register under their names and try hard to keep away from the bad ideas because history narrates without flattering.

• Luxurious cars denote the luxury and high standard of their owners. Likewise, high and noble ideas refer to the smartness of their people, whereas the mean people remain prisoners of their trivial ideas.

• Luxurious cars do not compete with old cars. Likewise, scholars and scientists do not compete with the public. Have you ever seen a half-million-dollars car compete with an old one?!

• Renewal of car is a persistent demand, especially along with frequent use, but we revolt when we see an old man riding a racing car but do not disgust a young man drives a luxurious car and crash it with his fun and play.

• As cars need to be checked up by technicians, oneself needs to seek guidance from scholars to correct the mistakes, educators to correct behavior, ascetics to soften the hearts. The one who wants to take care with his car, he goes to the agency and those who want to reform themselves go to their Creator.

• A car has signs of danger, such as high temperature or low charge, therefore, each one should put some signs of danger in his life so that he may not fall or commit a mistake.

• A car driver should benefit from lights and mirrors, watch the velocity vector. Likewise, the one who begins something should benefit from experts and not to take decisions alone in order to avoid horrible accidents!

• When the tires expire, the car owner looks for a replacement from the same original material and it is impossible to seek a wooden, iron, or a golden tires, and even if he does this, his car will not move. Therefore, I hope that the people who want to reform education shall not go to communities completely different from our habits, ideas, and principles and bring those ideas and principles to our community. They should fetch ideas and principles similar to ours and in harmony with our culture and Shari`ah because when this is done, we will move forward.

Finally, I want to say that these thoughts are abstract and I do not any specific person because I know that some people try to interpret and bend the words and meaning to defame others and seek defects of others while they are defected.
