Turning the election table upside down in Israel and the West Bank

When we browse the history of the Jews, we find that divisions and differences are the basis of their lives on which they led even if they seem to be so social. Indeed, Almighty Allah has told the truth when he described them in the Glorious Qur'an - Surat Al Hashr, by saying: "You would think they were united, but their hearts are divided." [Surat Al Hashr :14].

In these days, after the stability of the resistance in Gaza, a manifestation from the Gazan victory came to existence that was the division and difference in the elections of the Jewish state, which is commonly named Israel. Everyone knows that Jews are divided into different parties; and years have passed while either a party merges with another or a party erupts from another divided party. The best proof to this is the eruption of Kadima party in 2005 that was led by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. The party is now under the leadership of Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, and before was Prime Minister Ehud Olmert -from the Likud party- which is now led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The son of the former Prime Minister Menachem Begin, who signed the Camp David Agreement with Anwar Sadat, also joined that party.

The division which is currently taking place in the Knesset -Knesset means a compound in Arabic and the meaning here is the Israeli parliament which enacts laws and monitors the Israeli government at the same time- is a victory for the Islamic Resistance in Gaza. It is not far that the decision of the Israeli Prime Minister: cease-fire in Gaza war, was due to the revolution that erupted in the Knesset, especially the Jewish parties which felt that Israel will lose its war, whereas some parties felt that war will postpone the Israeli elections from its fixed date which was the 10^th of February 2009, corresponding to the fifteenth of Safar 1430 AH.

This showed to the world that Israel was affected by war, in addition to the revolution that was launched by some Arab Knesset members who represented the Arab Palestinians in the occupied territories, and whose presence in the Knesset was seen by some Jews as a ticking time bomb which will destroy Israel at any time.

The one who follows-up the current Israel conditions -the varying opinions in terms of their affairs, and the movement of some of them between parties- will realize that they are in continuing schism, even if they seem to be otherwise. Furthermore, some of them wish to annihilate the other as their predecessors were. Therefore, Allah (Glory be to Him) warned us in His Book of their conditions where He says in Surat Al `Imran: "And be not as those who divided and differed among themselves after the clear proofs had come to them. It is they for whom there is an awful torment." [Surat Al `Imran: 105].

It is no secret that some of the Israeli icons which shall run for prime minister position -such as: war minister Ehud Barak the representative of the Labor Party and Secretary of State- have employed the aggression on Gaza to gain more popularity in the elections, and I think that the table turned against them.

Indeed, the hypocrites of Palestine and others are not far from these conditions; they are like them in everything, how that would not be while the Qur'an described the hypocrites as the brethren of the People of the Scriptures. Allah (Glory be to Him) says in Surat Al Hashr: "Have you (O Muhammad peace be upon him) not observed the hypocrites who say to their friends among the people of the Scripture who disbelieve: “(By Allâh) If you are expelled, we (too) indeed will go out with you." [Surat Al Hashr: 11].

I ask Allah to guide the Nation of Islam to the Straight Path.
