Sahih Al Bukhari (678)

عن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت "كان رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم) إذا أراد سفرا أقرع بين نسائه فأيتهن خرج سهمها خرج بها معه وكان يقسم لكل امرأة منهن يومها وليلتها غير أن سودة بنت زمعة وهبت يومها وليلتها لعائشة زوج النبي (صلى الله عليه وسلم) تبتغي بذلك رضا رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم)"

`A'ishah narrated: Whenever Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) intended to go on a journey, he used to draw lots among his wives and would take with him the one on whom the lot fell. He also used to fix for everyone of his wives a day and a night, but Sawdah bint Zam`ah gave her day and night to `A'ishah, the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him) intending thereby to please Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him).
