It is known that there are enormous numbers of Muslims that live in non-Islamic countries whether as natives or expatriates.

These countries are not a suitable environment for Muslims to live in; however a lot of Muslims had succeeded in acclimating without wasting their religion.

But now, what about the future of new generation of Muslims there, especially in an environment that has become more complicated and immoral?!

In the past that which was unacceptable based on religious and moral reasons, nowadays it becomes acceptable.

Hence you may get shocked,  when you know that support for the legality of same-sex marriage among Americans has reached a high rate in 2015 (60%), while it was only 27% in 1996, according to the recent opinion poll conducted by Gallup Foundation in May 2015.

The poll had also revealed the first-reached majority was in 2011, when 53% supported that abnormal relationship.

Not only is same-sex marriage backed by the majority of American people, but also the government supported it, since the U.S. Supreme Court had ruled that the gay marriage is a fundamental right in June 2015.

However, there are people that always fight for the right, those who have the intuitive sense of right and wrong weather they are Muslims or not like Kim Davis the brave Kentucky county clerk who had stood strongly against her government, refusing to issue a marriage license to a same-sex couple on last Thursday (3 September, 2015), so she has been in jail till now.

This defiant woman sees that she is supposed to be free from her jail, because her objection to gay marriage is according to religious reasons that should be considered and respected.

Therefore, we should believe that the right is clear, only for those who always see by their conscience, regardless of their religion; may Allah guide them to Islam, the religion we should all follow, the religion of truth and right.

Finally, it is well known that the gay marriage in Islam is a taboo. Allah has banned it and set a strict punishment for those who do that, as he did with prophet Lut’s (PBUH) people, who were warned by Lut against this relationship, asking them to marry his daughters instead of men as otherwise they will get punished by Allah; but they adamantly refused, and therefore Allah turned their city upside down and rained down on them hard brimstones as a punishment.
