Saudi Hajj Ministry Inaugurates Digital Communications Network

Jeddah – Saudi Arabia Ministry of Hajj inaugurated today, modern digital communications network within the framework of transformation to digital system, characterized with sound quality, security and confidentiality of communications .

The Undersecretary of Hajj Ministry, Dr. Nasser Al-Sharif said that the new digital networking, inaugurated by the ministry, has the ability to locate the caller on the online map, as well as the field teams spreading at the pilgrims’ sites in Makkah, Madinah and the holy places .

Al-Sharif added that 3,000 wireless devices have been linked to the digital network to provide services to pilgrims from the moment of their arrival in Kingdom through the air, land and sea ports until their departure of the holy places.
