Question

As-salamu `Alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuh (May Allah's Peace, Mercy, and Blessings be upon you!).

I suffer severe symptoms in the heart which come abruptly where my heart begins to beat strongly. I feel it will come out of my chest and sweat begins to flow, dyspnea, and the feeling of dizziness remains for minutes then stops, could you kindly tell me the reason because these symptoms are repeated and bother me a lot.

I visited the doctor and he found that cardiography was sound and valves were also sound. He said to me: I cannot diagnose the case because these symptoms come suddenly and cannot be observed.

It is worth mentioning that the case increases at tension and I become very tense for trivial matters; so what is the solution?

If you mean that you suffer heart palpitation, fear, dizziness, dyspnea, sweat, and approach of death which continue for several minutes then disappear bit by bit, this is a famous psychological disease called panic disorder; and it is impossible to diagnose this disease unless we are sure that the heart is sound and make sure that thyroid does not suffer any secretion.

In this case you should see a doctor for diagnosis and to give the suitable medication because it is not ethical to give a description remotely without diagnosis.

I know for sure how difficult these attacks are, I ask Allah for reward and good health for you.

I hope that you do not delay diagnosis and I want to comfort you that medical advancement has discovered medication that do not cause addiction or any serious side effects.
