Surat Al A`raf

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

1- These are scattered letters which their meanings were not reported in an authentic Hadith and their knowledge is due to Allah.

2- It is the Qur'an which Allah revealed to you, so do not be in doubt about it or you should not bear distress in your heart while conveying it. Moreover, there is no harm to warn with the Qur'an lest they belie you so that you would be a warner to the believers to benefit from and follow its guidance.

3- O people, follow and abide by what Allah revealed to you in the Qur'an and do not go to someone else of those who seek to mislead you by their whims and cast their falsehood to you in order that you would leave the truth. Rarely, you abide by these instructions, so that you may leave the truth for the sake of falsehood.

4- Many are the cities and villages which We have destroyed because their people disobeyed and belied Our Messengers and insisted on their falsehood. Some of them deserved torment which inflicted them at night while sleeping, and some of them were tortured in the noon time while they had a rest; people use both times for relaxation.

5- When the torment inflicted them after they had admitted their sins seeking to get rid of punishment, they said: We were oppressors and we deserved the punishment.

6- On the Day of Recompense, We shall ask the nations about their response to their Messengers, and We shall ask the Messengers about conveying their messages and the response of their people.

7- We shall inform the people according to Our Knowledge and we shall explain to them what they said and did whether good or evil, little or much because Allah knows their conditions and nothing of it is missed from His Knowledge.

8- Weighing actions, and distinction between good and evil on the Day of Recompense are true, so whoever his scale of good deeds overbalanced shall win salvation and reward.

9- And whoever his scale of bad deeds overbalanced shall be of the losers who will regret for losing the great reward and the bliss, and become regretful for the painful torment, that is because they were denying our Ayahs and belying our Messengers.

10- We have made the earth as an abode for you and placed therein sustenance to live on such as food, drink, trade; and all that on earth is a blessing from Allah to you, however you show little gratitude to Allah.
