The horrors of the Day of Judgment (5)

Covering of the sun, eclipse of the moon and scattering of the stars

   This sun that people cannot manage without; its light and the energy that it provides us with, will be gathered and covered and its light will go on the Day of Resurrection. Allah Almighty says, clarifying:

{إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ}

"When the sun is Kuwwir" [Al Takweer: 1]

Kuwwir; Ibn Abbas says: becomes dark. Mujahid says: decays and goes. Abu Saleh says: thrown away. Ibn Jarir says: what is said from us regarding this saying: "Kuwwir is the gathering of things with each other, including the gathering of the public and gathering the clothes with each other. The meaning of His words Almighty: Kuwwir: gathering it with itself, then it was rolled up and thrown. If that is done with it, then its light would have gone"[1]

As for the moon, it eclipses in the end, so becomes dark and its light goes. Allah Almighty says:

{فَإِذَا بَرِقَ الْبَصَرُ * وَخَسَفَ الْقَمَرُ}

" So when vision is dazzled. And the moon darkens " [Al Qiyama: 7-8]

   As for these influential stars and planets that decorate the heavens as if they are tied, their term will end so they will become scattered. Their light will also go so they will go out. Allah Almighty says:

{وَإِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انتَثَرَتْ }

" And when the stars fall, scattering " [Al Infitar: 2]

He said:

{وَإِذَا النُّجُومُ انكَدَرَتْ }

" And when the stars fall, dispersing " [Al Takweer: 2]

Meaning: became scattered.

He said:

{فَإِذَا النُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ }

"So when the stars are obliterated" [Al Mursalat: 8]

Meaning: its light went.

Dear reader, this will be the case of the universe that we have been amazed by. They are no doubt great but at that moment of horror imagine how their situation will be!

What remains is to know my situation and your situation in that serious moment. Man at this moment when the universe changes will be greatly horrified and will not resist the extreme fear and panic that he sees. The moon will eclipse and the sun and moon will gather. Because of the panic of man, he will say: where is the refuge?

{فَإِذَا بَرِقَ الْبَصَرُ * وَخَسَفَ الْقَمَرُ  * وَجُمِعَ الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ  * يَقُولُ الْإِنسَانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ الْمَفَرُّ}

"So when vision is dazzled. And the moon darkens. And the sun and the moon are joined. Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?"

The answer comes:

{كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ}

"No! There is no refuge."

There is no refuge from the horrors of that day:

:{إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمُسْتَقَرُّ  *يُنَبَّأُ الْإِنسَانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ}

"To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence. Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back." [Al Qiyama: 7-13]

      What a meeting it shall be and what a news it shall be. Nothing will be hidden from the situation:

{ يَوْمَئِذٍ تُعْرَضُونَ لَا تَخْفَىٰ مِنكُمْ خَافِيَةٌ}

"That Day, you will be exhibited [for judgement]; not hidden among you is anything concealed." [Al Haaqa: 18]

Oh my God lighten my meeting and the meeting of those who read my words. More details of these horrors will follow.
