While he was driving his car fast on his way home, someone messed with him on the road. A fight erupted between the two. He put off his cigarette which he was holding in his hand then pressed the gas pedal to the maximum. He was enjoying his high speed because he shall reach home soon. He entered without saluting his family and did not inform them about the time of his arrival at home. He entered into his office, searching in his old files then he pick up one and went out to see a new customer for his company.

Once again, he drove his car fast but this time he did not pay attention to a young boy who was playing at the side of the road. He hit the boy and the boy fell on the ground and his blood was shedding. He got off the car while he is shivering of the shock and people started to gather around him, and voices raised high, then he took the child to the hospital.

The boy needed a surgery to save his life. Doctors did their best to save the life of the child. Respiratory equipment was working at full speed, hours passed, long moments of waiting tear the heart and the doctor came out finally:

• O doctor, how is he?

• Allah was so merciful and we could save the child.

Upon hearing this, the man fell on the ground prostrating to Allah as part of gratitude. He was terrified to be a cause of killing an innocent child because of his high speed. He came out with minimum damages to get ready for other situations.

While he was sitting in the hospital, ideas jumped into his mind: He is unable to quit smoking, he used to treat his wife badly, he has the lust of living which possessed his heart, then he announced it: What am I doing to myself? I am about to destroy myself, no doubt. I shall change my life to the better, from now on I am a new person; and I shall never unleash my desires.

He left the hospital and bought a bunch of flowers and went home to apologize for his family. When his wife saw him, her eyes were full of tears out of joy, and smiles were seen again on the faces of his children. As for his big family, they could not believe their eyes when they saw reverence and tranquility on his face after he had been gloomy all the time. He chose another way to draw nearer to his Lord, abandoned sins, and opened a new page in his life. Now, he lives happily with his family, so how lucky he is and how luck all the people who found their way to success and salvation!
