Belgium is the highest European in embracing Islam rates

"Le Soir" newspaper confirmed that more than forty thousand citizens embraced Islam during the past few years, which is the highest rate in the European continent when compared to the ten million people who live in the country.

This high rate of embracing Islam pushed the Belgian far-right to launch warnings to emphasize the seriousness of mixed marriage, while the paper points out that the number of Muslims in Belgium has reached more than 450 thousand.

A newly converts to Islam mentioned that he did not embrace Islam for marrying a Muslim woman, but he married seven years after his Islam. He added: The secret of embracing Islam is that Islam is a religion with no intermediaries between a person and his lord, and that is what he was looking for.

He added: When I uttered the testimony of faith, began to offer Salah, and married a Muslim woman, I felt like I have always been a Muslim.

He pointed out that he complains about the media campaign against Muslims that distort many facts about Islam, as they contain a lot of fallacies which claim that the main reason of conversion to Islam is marrying a Muslim woman.

Other people who have newly converted to Islam mentioned that his Conversion to Islam was a journey to search for the truth, pointing out that he had been through many conversions in his life.

He pointed out that he did not find enough to satisfy his spirit except in Islam and said: When I discovered Islam, I felt I had found my home and family.

It is worth mentioning that the Belgian government on its part has dealt with adherents of Islam seriously by appointing "Yassin Bias," a doctor who converted to Islam a few years ago and married to a Muslim woman, as a president of the Council of Muslims in Belgium, then he took over the presidency of the Executive Supreme Council of Muslims in Belgium.
