Religious damages:

* Keeping aloof from the religion of Allah (may He be Glorified and Exalted), from the sound creed, and from satisfaction with Allah's Destiny and Fate.

* Veneration of sorcery and jugglers and resorting to them in needs.

* Abandoning the True Resort to which a person resorts i.e., the Lord of all people, and seeking the help of devils and their servants.

* Those who go to sorcerers and soothsayers have weak reliance on Allah, the Lord of all creatures.

* The widespread of polytheistic practices and offering sacrifices in the name of devils and gods which are worshipped besides Allah.

* Worshipping devils besides Allah, as Satan does not accept from a sorcerer less than worshipping him. A sorcerer may ask those who go to him for help to associate others with Allah in worship.

* Decrease in faith and in practicing the acts of worship.

* The hearty attachment with myths and lies which jugglers utter.

* Frequent insinuations in the life of the bewitched whether in the acts of worship or in regular habits.

Morbid damages - medical and psychological:

* A bewitched gets pains, diseases, headaches, tumors, paralysis, and incurable diseases.

* Harming pregnant women, causing abortion, and preventing pregnancy.

* Psychological and nervous disorders that affect the patients' behavior.

* Recession of activity, and permanent or interrupted laziness in the entire body.

* Increase of sorrows, concerns, confusion, worry, and suffering.

Social damages:

* Preventing marriage or complicating its procedures for those who desire to marry.

* Family violence among bewitched families: Sorcery may lead to beat the wife and children, and the emergence of family enmity and the increase of doubts and problems among spouses, in addition to the spread of distress and sadness among family members.

* The spread of enmity and hatred among Muslims and brothers because some aggressors may resort to sorcerers and astrologers.

* Destroying houses and separating between spouses which is called "sorcery of separation" that may be cast on a wife or a husband.

"And from these (angels) people learn that by which they cause separation between man and his wife, but they could not thus harm anyone except by Allâh's Leave." [Surat Al Baqarah: 102].

* Sorcerers do exist in places in which ignorance spreads, so whenever the society is more ignorant of their religion, sorcerers increase and spread.

Moral damages:

* Circulation of hatred and enmity among Muslims, and implanting chaos, malice, and envy among individuals.

* Stirring immoral acts, vice, and forbidden relationships, and keeping aloof from good manners.

* Sorcery is an outlet to grievous and major sins such as adultery, killing, drugs, and alcoholic liquors.

* Spreading the love of evil and the desire to harm others, destroy and control them. Sorcerers instill evil and wickedness wherever they are, and they hate security and tranquility.

* Sorcery implants doubts among Muslims and calls to take revenge by all available means, particularly if the bewitched knows whoever bewitched him; consequently he may kill someone and that is what a sorcerer wishes.

Damages on the young and students:

* Some youth go to jugglers' theaters and private sessions which are called today "Satan worshippers."

* Sorcery may lead to a student's failure and deterioration in academic level.
