11- We create your origin (Adam) from dust then fashioned him in the image of human then We blew into him from our soul, then We said to angels: Prostrate to Adam out of honor and in glorification for Allah (Glory be to Him), thereupon all of them prostrated and obeyed except Satan who disobeyed and refused to prostrate.

12- Allah said to Satan: What has prevented you from prostrating to Adam as I commanded? He said: I am better than him because You created me of Fire, whereas You created him from clay, and fire is better than clay, so why should I prostrate to him? His analogy was corrupt and his disobedience was manifest because honor is for those whom Allah honored and the most honorable is the one whom He honored and blew into him part of His Soul then commanded the angels to prostrate to him out of honor. Clay is better than Fire because it contains sobriety, forbearance, patience and increase, but Fire burns and creates boldness and fastness, therefore Satan was a traitor, disobedient, Satan was reckless, traitor, naughty, and disobedient to his Creator, and he deserves it.

13- Allah (Glory be to Him) said to the cursed Satan: Get out of Paradise because you do not deserve to stay therein because you have disobeyed my commands of prostrating to Adam, so get out in humiliation.

14- Satan said to his Lord: Respite me and do not make me die in this worldly life until the Day of Recompense.

15- Allah (glory be to Him) says: I shall give you respite and delay you to that day for a wisdom and to try My Servants.

16- Satan said to his Lord in stubbornness and boasting: Because You have misled and destroyed me, I shall mislead and destroy the children of Adam whom you favored to me and I shall sit in their straight paths which You drew for them to reach Paradise to prevent them of it.

17- Then I shall mislead them and make them doubt about the Day of Reckoning, and shall tempt them with the world and its adornments, and I shall make them doubt their religion until they disbelieve, and adorn sins and evils to them to commit, and You shall not find most of them believers in You.

18- Allah (Glory be to Him) said to the cursed Satan: Get out dispraised, humiliated, and expelled from Paradise as well as those who follow you from the children of Adam who will have the same bad destination. Verily, I shall make you, your offspring, and the disbelievers from the children of Adam the fuel of Hell-Fire.

19- We said: O Adam, you and your wife Eve may dwell in Paradise and eat therefrom all good and nice fruits, but do not eat from this tree [which He fixed for them] in order not to be of those who oppress themselves and deserve the punishment.

20- Thereupon, Satan envied them, cast insinuations in their hearts, and commanded them to disobey their lord so that their private parts may be displayed. He said to them in malice, envy, and lie: Indeed, Allah prevented you from eating from this tree in order not to be of the angels or not to dwell permanently in Paradise.
