The Accounts (4)

will the Jinn be accounted for?

Because they are assigned, their disbelievers will enter the fire by drawing out and the consensus as the Almighty said:

{وَلَقَدْ ذَرَأْنَا لِجَهَنَّمَ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ}

“And We have certainly created for Hell many of the Jinn and mankind.” [Al Araf: 179]
His words:

{قَالَ ادْخُلُوا فِي أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِكُم مِّنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ فِي النَّارِ}

“[Allah] will say, "Enter among nations which had passed on before you of Jinn and mankind into the Fire."” [Al Araf: 38]

Their believers will enter paradise and that is the saying of the consensus of the scholars because of His words Almighty:

{لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَانٌّ}

“In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or Jinni” [Al Rahman: 56]

Because of His words Almighty:

{وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَانِ}

“But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens” [Al Rahman: 46]

will animals be accounted for?

Preceded in the research about the gathering; that it there will be retribution between animals so the hornless animal will deal with the the horned animal as was preceded. This retribution is not a commissioning retribution but opposition retribution. As for the reckoning of the retribution; they will not be accounted because there is no opposition on them. What preceded was that this was the choice of Al Nawawi and it is the choice of our Sheikh Ibn Othaimeen (may Allah be pleased with him)[1]
