JIH Calls To Care For Environment: Children’s Rally Marked The Event

Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Mira Road Unit and SIO Mira Road here in a combined drive came out in a big way urging residents to care for environment by taking out a Rally of students of children wing.

Local corporator Shaikh Ashraf also participated in the event and appreciated the efforts of JIH Mira Road and SIO. “I am with you for this noble cause and whatever number of trees you need I will give free of cost.” He said while addressing the public on road.

We consider ourselves advanced and modern while we are at such a juncture of time, where we are harming the environment most. Islam Advocates for the care of environment. Please consider this as your duty towards environment and avoid plastic culture. Said Mohammad Naeed (Member JIH).

Caring for Environment is proved from the practice of Prophet (Peace be upon him). He always instructed his companions for not harming any old aged, women, children and Trees. Many sayings of Prophet (Peace be upon him) mentions Trees and caring of trees, said Abdul Qadeer (Amir JIH Mira Road) while addressing the masses.

While cleanliness has been declared by Allah in Islam as half the faith, Muslim localities are not the showcase of the same. This is the predicament of Muslims and Muslims should come out of regular habits of not caring for locality and intern Environment. Governments lethargic approach towards regular cleaning on the roads also deteriorates the situation” Said Shakeel shaikh (Member JIH).

GO GREEN SAVE EARTH was the theme of the event. Tree plantation was also done at this occasion along with Sub Inspector of local police station.

The rally covered most of the places often dirty and handbills were distributed on the way. Corner meetings, Nukkad Natak, Live Models on environment awareness marked the occasion. Children were shouting slogans and holding placards.

This should not be considered as token activity, by this JIH Mira road has started a big campaign and will not leave a single stone unturned for keeping the environment of Mira road at check declared JIH mira Road.

In near future we have planned a massive cleanliness drive at Mira road. This Environment day campaign can be considered as launch of the same. Informed the officials of JIH Mira road.
