The specialized scientific committees of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs affiliated to the Egyptian Awqaf Ministry begins its plan to refute the doubts raised against Islam on the Internet from the next month. The committees shall prepare their reports and future plans for the next session -Allah's Willing- that begins next October and ends in June 2009.
Dr. Muhammad Ash-Shahhat Al Gendy, the Secretary-General of the Council, said that the committees shall begin their work during the coming period with a comprehensive system that depends on two main points:
1- Systematic and scientific refutation of the doubts.
2- The correct introduction to Islam.
The project will be done through the close cooperation among these fourteen committees which are specialized in different fields to activate the Council's mission in spreading the true Islamic awareness.
On the other hand, the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Cairo issued seven scientific encyclopedias, representing the scientific and intellectual extract for the service of researchers in the Islamic thought. These encyclopedias are: Public Scientific Encyclopedia, the specialized encyclopedia of the Qur'an, the Encyclopedia of Hadith sciences, the Encyclopedia of Islamic civilization, the Encyclopedia of Islamic thought celebrities, the Encyclopedia of Islamic law, and the Encyclopedia of sects and doctrines in the Muslim world.
Dr. Al Gendy added: These encyclopedias come as a part of a scientific plan aimed at issuing sixteen volumes in all areas of Islamic thought under the supervision of a group of elite scientists and thinkers of Egypt and the Muslim world.
