CAIR-MN to Organize Free Legal Clinic at 'Day of Dignity'

The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN) will host its 2nd Annual Free Brief Advice Legal Clinic at the Twin Cities "Day of Dignity."

The Day of Dignity is an annual community event that offers free services, including medical aid, clothing, haircuts, food, and more. It is organized by Al Maauum Neighborhood Outreach.

The Free Brief Advice Legal Clinic will provide advice in areas such as civil rights, housing, family law, immigration, and employment.

"Many individuals find it difficult to understand and navigate the legal system," said CAIR-MN Executive Director Lori Saroya. "CAIR-MN seeks to make legal services more accessible in the community."

CAIR-MN has created a network of 50 Minnesota Muslim attorneys and law students. The group plans to organize more free legal clinics and seminars in the community. Attorneys and law students interested in volunteering can contact CAIR-MN at info@mn.cair.com or 612-206-3360
