ISNA to Host its First Family Seminar at the 49th Annual ISNA Convention

ISNA announces its first family seminar to be launched at our annual convention. The seminar will address critical issues that face parents raising youth and is yet another reason to register for ISNA Convention this year

1- Topic: A Journey to Their World: A Closer Look at Teens Lives.

Speakers: Habeeb Quadri, Altaf Husain, Moderator: Iyad Alnachef

In this session speakers will give us a tour to youth world. Questions this session will answer include: Is there a connection between biological changes youth experience and their thinking/behavior? Does youth culture exist? What are its elements? What role does it it play in youth development? Answering these questions will help parents better understand where youth are.

2: Parents Count

Speakers: Mufti Hussain Kamani, Imam Tahir Anwar, Moderator: Fatima Mirza

Our parents have been the source of inspiration and guidance. They taught us how to walk, talk, think and beyond. But they did not have Facebook, YouTube and other major distractions and influencers competing with them as parents.

In this session, speakers will provide participants with specific tips on how to equip themselves as parents so that they could play their role effectively.

Topic 3: You are Not Alone- Monday
