During our way in life, we should face some obstacles and difficulties. No one can be always successful because failures and obstacles generate some concerns.

The master of creation (peace be upon him) sought refuge with Allah against anxiety and sorrow to show us the danger of anxiety and obstacles on man which hinder him from progress. If concerns control a person, they will develop to create a permanent psychological diseases, therefore it is obligatory to pay attention to that and try to be firm, steady, and not to surrender so as to reach the real happiness which removes any effect of concerns by the will of Allah.

The reactions of people toward concerns are different. If they control a person, they can paralyze his movements and open for him a gate to disappointment!

How could we change our concerns to hopes and achievements?

Internal change at humans is the most important as well as positive thinking because positive thinking makes you feel comfort and opens for you the gates of happiness by the will of Allah.

Then pause to contemplate the past and rearrange your papers because what had happened to you is a golden opportunity for your progress; your past mistakes gave you an experience to help you overcome the present and to plan well for the future.

Keep up optimism because a pessimist sees obstacles in every opportunity, whereas an optimist sees a chance in every obstacle.

A sick person recalls death, whereas an optimist feels the importance of using medicine, invocation, and takes medicine to be cured by the will of Allah:

Verily, the joy of life is optimism,

so be optimist to live in the company of the happy ones.

Count your steps and ask yourself: How can I do accomplishments?

Those who depend on others and the disable believe that they should be satisfied with reality. A practical person is the one who searches for permanent change to the best and searches for the chances which will help him progress to use them well.

Let it be known that dawn comes after the darkness of the night and hope shall smile for you from the depths of concerns.

So, when you feel that you are on the edge of despair, remember Allah's Saying: "(They were reprieved) until, when the Messengers gave up hope and thought that they were denied (by their people), then came to them Our Help, and whomsoever We willed were rescued. And Our Punishment cannot be warded off from the people who are Mujrimûn (criminals, sinners, disbelievers, polytheists)." [Surat Yusuf: 110].

How wonderful to expect success while you are a loser in the bottom of your heart!

Avoid the disappointing people who cause your positive energies to fade away in the middle of their disappointments and negative messages.

Reinforce your self-confidence after putting your trust in Allah (may He be Exalted).

Resort to internal dialog to turn negatives to positives, and change your look to the things around you. You should change the way of your thinking to turn negatives to positives.

Autosuggestion gives you the chance to change many of your wrong ideas and beliefs.

Always focus on the one-half of the cup which is full, study the news of the successful, and avoid the discouragers.

You have to convince yourself that you are happy, you can achieve many successes, and that Allah has given you many favors, especially when you look at those who are of low-standard.

This is a social doctrine that was not overlooked by our true religion. Therefore, the Messenger (peace be upon him) commanded us to look at those of lower-standard.

"Look at those who stand at a lower level than you but do not look at those who stand at a higher level than you, for this would make the favors (conferred upon you by Allah) insignificant (in your eyes)." [Reported by Al Bukhari and Muslim].

Put your trust in Allah, have a good thinking in Him, and rejoice at the coming goodness.

Dear reader, you are part of the human wealth. You have a position, a role, and a value. Your family, wife, children, friends, and those who love you are in dire need to you. They feel happy for you and feel sad for you, so smile for difficulties.

Observe patience and tolerate because the joy of life is achieved by hard work and sacrifice after the contentment of Allah (may He be Exalted).

Life is hard and not easy, and hardship will not suppress hardship. All you have to do is to do your best to be the best and always remember that contentment is an endless treasure and whoever knocks at the door of happiness shall find life smiling at him.
