To Muslim women captured in churches, you are on the track of Sumayyah (may Allah be pleased with her)

Events are repeated many times, and the scenes of injustice, persecution, and torture remind us with the first generation and the price they paid of their blood and souls in the way of supporting this religion.

If Christians respond to the truth, we would argue with them, but we would respond to them with their logic: If you claim the freedom of creed and defend those who apostatize from Islam, why do you stand opposite to those who choose Islam and you deny the freedom of belief and choice?

Regardless unjust comparison, there is a big difference between choosing the truth and those who turn away from it, however, it is a comparison produced by Muslims' failing and leaving aside the maxim of Al Wala' Wal Bara' (loyalty and disassociation for Allah's Sake).

It seems that the contentment of polytheists is one throughout history. They said it along time ago: "When a Muslim comes to us, we do not send him away and who goes to you as a Muslim, you should send back to us." The ways of enmity have varied starting from false accusations, passing through boycott, torturing, and harming in order to deter Muslims from their religion. Nevertheless, they did not succeed, things went against their desires, the number of Muslims has increased, and the words of the truthful (Muhammad peace be upon him) became true: "This religion shall spread as day and night spread and Allah will not leave a house of clay or (the tent of) camels' hair but will bring them to Islam."

Let us pause for a while to contemplate: What is the secret of this light that attracts the minds before the hearts?

Men of understanding realize that the glory of Islam lies in being the truth and what is after the truth but error? Those who strive hard to attack Islam by doubts and vanities have turned back on their heels, their plots turned against them, and their goal was not achieved.

Without knowledge, they opened a gate for many confused people who search for the truth to study Islam. After a while, their hearts were opened for Islam and embraced it, hence the enemies of Islam became indirect reason for spreading Islam.

The power of Islam was extracted from Allah's protection and true believers protected it with their lives and blood, then the enemies of Islam have become indirect reason for many people to embrace Islam. All these factors supported Islam in addition of being the religion of truth, which is free of corruption.

Let these Ayahs make us think: "Verily, they are but plotting a plot (against you O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)). * And I (too) am planning a plan. * So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal you gently with them for a while." [Surat At-Tariq: 15-17].

To the Muslim prisoners in the Church: You are walking on the track of Sumayyah (may Allah be pleased with her), so be firm and know that life is short even if you live long and your final destination is Paradise, Allah willing. Allah (may He be Exalted) says: "Do you think that you will enter Paradise before Allah tests those of you who fought (in His Cause) and (also) tests those who are As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.)" [Surat Al `Imran: 142].

Remember the saying of the Prophet (peace be upon him): "The people most subject to affliction are the prophets, then come the righteous, and after them come the best people all according to their faith." It is a test for patience and the truthfulness of faith, and you were preceded by many Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) who were tested as you do; and you shall find solace in their stories.

"Then every person shall be paid what he earned." [Surat Al Baqarah: 281].

"And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned." [Surat Ash-Shu`ara']
