Should I go back to my husband after my divorce?

The Question:

As-salamu `Alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuh (May Allah's Peace, Mercy, and Blessings be upon you!)

I am a revocable divorced woman, after one month of divorce I discovered that I had been mistaken in many things which led to divorce of which is my frequent demand of divorce.

As for the last problem which led to divorce, it was because of his cheating on me where he got to know another woman and wanted to divorce me to marry her, and he did, but he did not marry her until now.

Now, he is in a miserable psychological state, blame me for all errors, and believes that I oppressed him. This is not true, for he participated with great part in divorce. I have no children and he used to neglect me a lot and care for his children from the first wife.

I sent him many letters telling him that I love him so much and that problems exist everywhere and we have to fix things up, but he did not respond to me, and I knew that he is suffering from a bad psychological state.

Do you advise me to send him more letters? Let it be known that I bothered him a lot when I invoked Allah against him because of his oppression.

I know that I neglected him, but he pushed me to it, and he always thinks that he is right; tell me what to do?

In the beginning, I thank you for your communication with Alukah Network and my advice to you is to supplicate Allah to guide you to the best and invoke Allah frequently perhaps he would fix your conditions. If you want to go back to your husband, it is better to set arrangements first and reach an agreement. Send him letters about the ways of solving marital problems and marital rights besides other purposeful ad useful letters, and I invoke Allah to guide you to the best!
