Man is the real wealth on the surface of Earth, as he is the most valuable asset of nations and religions. It is enough honor for him that Allah made His Angels prostrating to him by the command of the Most Gracious. Allah (Glory be to Him) says: "And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves before Adam." And they prostrated except Iblîs (Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to Allâh)." [Surat Al Baqarah: 34].

Developed countries realize what we are saying, therefore so often they facilitate the migration of creative minds and the people of rare scientific degrees to them, and make those minds as assets and pillars to them upon which they build their progress and cultural advancement.

But there is a question here, which is: Why do energies and minds migrate from the developing countries to the developed countries? Is it from the best interest of developing countries to be deprived of their good children?

The answer can be determined as follows:

There are economic reasons such as hunger and poverty which have exhausted most of the population in developing countries, and people, by nature, are looking for efficiency and welfare or what we call "economic security."

`Urwah bin Al Ward said:[1]

Let me seeking richness, for I saw that the most evil people are the poor.

Ibn Al Wardy said:[2]

Loving homelands is an apparent inability, so travel to find replacement to them.

There are political reasons which trace back to wars, occupation, tyranny, and suppressing opinions.

There are psychological reasons where a person may conceal his emotions within himself such as love, hatred, and suchlike.

Al `Abbas ibn Ahnaf said:[3]

I will seek a remote house so that you draw nearer, and my eyes pour tears to freeze.

There are various beauties in alienation such as the sense of renewal and activity.

Abu Tammam said:[4]

Long stay of a person in a neighborhood causes stillness, so travel to renew your life, for I saw the love of the sun increases in the heart of people for it is movent.

However, alienation has various evils such as the grief for losing a friend and beloved people.

Az-Zirikly said:[5]

After an eye leaves homeland, it does not find an inhabitant nor housing.

Losing friendship makes a human in chaos which reflects on his behavior and dealing with people, so he does not distinguish between his enemy and his friend.

Zuhayr said:[6]

And whoever travels considers his enemies friends and whoever does not honor himself shall not be honored.

Alienation is not a gradual death for man's senses and heart, therefore things are confused when he migrates, and what shall a person do if he remains in his country?

The important is achievements and giving, but the main problem in this decision is the nation which loses its children.

So, how will successors build their countries?

What did countries do to maintain their children?

What future awaits the nation when the people of knowledge and creativity leave?
